Is there an Xbox360 game we can all agree on as being "good"?

God. Dont get me started on Kameo. I got it at Walmart in their $15 bin. Excited to play it.

Guh, should have paid $10 extra bucks to get a decent game.

It is the greatest game in the world, and all naysayers are jealous infidels.
Actually, Halo 3 is considered super lame by everyone in rl and on the internet. I'd rather hold a guys hand and watch Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen than play Halo 3, simply because I'm not g?y enough to play Halo 3.

Of the games listed at the begining of this thread

Halo 3 - Haven't gotten it, not a big Halo fan, it's a well made game, but not the be all, end all, everyone makes it out to be. Pretty much a standard shooter in my mind.

Gears of War - This was a great game, but too short.

Bioshock - Got this, but since getting it almost two weeks ago, I've been too busy to actually sit down and play it.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Want this game, but haven't gotten it, honestly the length scares me, don't have the time to put into this game.

Dead Rising - This was pure fun, loved playing this game, sure the save is a little off, mainly because most other games save automatically now. Provided a great amount of entertainment though.

Crackdown - Haven't gotten this, the few bad points made in the reviews made me not want to buy it, only because I remember them being big pet peeves of mine in regards to video games.

Personally my favorite games have been the Tom Clancy games, just really like the online modes.

The 360 has a lot of games, some of which are really quite amazing.

However, no one can seem to agree on what those are.

Halo 3 - I think it's a blast. Some people bashing claiming they "don't see what's so special about Halo" in general and just dislike it.

Gears of War - I think this game is fantastic. A lot of people claim it's "all graphics" and nothing new.

Bioshock - I can understand why this is a more "love it or hatee it" game, and I love it. But it's not something everyone can agree upon.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Again, this game is a huge undertaking on Bethesda's part and I don't see any real problems with it.

Dead Rising - This is probably the first good 3D beat-em-up I ever played. So many people hate the save system and can't enjoy the game though.

Crackdown - This game is pure awesome. 100% manly justice. Many people scoff it's popularity by saying the Halo 3 Beta is what got it to sell.

These are just a few examples of great games that people can't allow themselves to like. But what, I ask, is a game that we can at least all allow ourselves to say is at least a "high quality" game? Is there anything out there?

Halo 3 - Definately great, people who dislike Halo don't realise what it did for gaming and don't realise that around 75% of FPS developers aim and continuously fail to beat it. If you dislike this series you're either a horrific Sony Fanboy, or you just don't understand its brilliance.

Gears of War - Good game again, brought the best cover system which is still yet to be beaten and probably won't even be matched until Uncharted. Doesn't hurt the graphics are mind numbing.

Bioshock - Completely original, completely engulfing work of excellence, I'd go as far as saying the best 360 and will be for sometime.

Oblivion - Okay... I don't really like it all too much. Don't get me wrong, its a good game, but after I've done billions of Oblivion gates, leveled up really far, it was the most depressing thing to step outside and have a tough time fighting skeletons with the same difficulty as I had before. Leveling up enemies along with you just made the whole game pointless.

Dead Rising - Haven't played much. Seemed confusing from what I did play.

Crackdown - Didn't play.

All these games are above 9/10 in my book, and are great games. Some are classics.

Gears of War - Classic
Oblivion - Elders Scroll - Classic
Bioshock - Classic
Halo 3 - Classic
Ghost Recon AW - Classic
Ghost Recon AW2
Rainbow Six
Crackdown
Saints Row
Forza 2

Didnt like Dead Rising at all......Just gave up on it.

On the whole, Im proud of my xbox 360 games....I think we've been lucky to have sooo many amazing games!!! Espeicially for the more mature/serious gamer!!

I think Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was really underrated. It was a big seller and a great game, but no one ever talks about it. I think Rainbow Six Vegas stole it's thunder, but then GRAW reversed it because it had most of the mechanics before Rainbow Six did.

Oh well.

It's not funny when you try that hard :csad:

I did get a kick out of the "TexXxas" location.

TexXxas is some hardcore Texas... it might even surpass TexASS.

The last g?y Texan I heard about was beaten up and tied to a fence. I'm pretty sure he died as well. I don't think the Texans like "their kind 'round here" if you know what I mean.

Just cause in TexXxASS we drink RC Cola doesnt mean we are all racist rednecks. I actually listen to Lyfe Jennings and Common fairly regularly.

Oh I'm not saying you're rednecks, I'm just saying I doubt many gays are there.

Oy.

I live in Houston, we have the third largest gay population in the nation here. We have all kinds of gay people including twinks, bears, diet gays, moustache cowboys, pokegays and more. I've even slipped up a few times myself!

Same man. DR was the one and only reason I honestly bought a 360

Same here. I saw the trailers for Dead Rising and decided it was time to finally go get a 360. And DR definitley lived up to the hype. That game is awesome.

*raises hand*

Try looking harder. Some of the things you have said were pretty ignorant. I'm openly bi, and have many MANY openly gay friends.

Wow. DRT was right. TexXxASS is full of gay people.

So the "steers and queers" line was RIGHT!!!

So much information right now... must chart it out and make sense of it all in a non-linear fashion.

Excuse me, I'm failing algebra please dont talk with math words.

TexXxASS is full of more than jusy gay people and steers. We also have lots of Vin Diesel fans left here.

Why do people say Oblivion is too long? It took me like 15 hours total gameplay to beat the storyline, and that was with becomming the master at the arena and decently high in the Warrior Guild.

It's not really long, unless you make it long. If you go from objective to objective, it's rather short and underwhelming.
