Is there going to be a fourth Austin Powers?

I'd love to see more, and I think there's alot more he could do with them, and I think he could've done better with three.

I was really annoyed with Evil being his brother, and stupid what's her name couldn't act, Foxxy whatever.

i enjoyed all three, and have a soft spot for the second, though i fell the character goldmember is most definalty the most underrated

but as for a foruth, its been too long and it should just be left, i feel myers should go the same route as robin williams and maybe try an few serious roles

Well the first was pretty good, the second was much funnier and IMO the best of the three with the most hilarity and originality (it went beyond the obvious spoofs) and the third was really funny when it came out but has not aged well past one viewing because it simply is the second and first movie retooled.

Agreed, the original was content to be a spoof of 60's spy movies/TV, the sequel was when Myers realised Dr Evil had more potenial than Austin and just went to town with that character.

The idea of Blofeld dancing with all his henchmen in his base is classic.

Also the musical opening of the first movie (with Austin being chased around) is one of the best spoofs of general 60's pop culture I've seen.

The last thing I can remember hearing was that they would try and bring another out near the next Bond film. (Casino Royal)

That didnt happen so I havent a clue if they are going to do another.

Yeah, I think the exact same thing except for Dr. Evil's part. I wasn't sure what to do with him at first but then it occured to me. Remember the therapy sessions from the second Austin powers film? Have Dr. Evil become Dr. Goode and be an emotional therapist or some s**t like that. While Austin is battling Scott the entire movie you could have Dr. Goode(Evil) trying to be a good father to Scott.

I am still not sure how to use Frau Frabissina. Could expand on the previous idea and have her be Dr. Goode's(Evil's) wife and their quest to be an all american family. The could even have a new baby brother for Scotty who is like two or three and does nothing but insult Scotty.

Then there is Mini-Me. I could see him having his own thing in this movie. Perhaps being the owner of a night club or something.

As for Austin's female lead, the choices are limitless. I think the good thing about all three female leads(Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham, and Beyonce Knowles) is they all 'fit' their roles better than anyone else could have. There was a bit of Hurley in Ms. Kensington, a part of Felicity Shagwell in Heather Graham, and a piece of Beyonce in Foxy Cleopatra. Maybe Jennifer Aniston would be good in this film.

There is at least another trilogy here. Yeah baby!

The first one was a great fish out of water story. The second one is an inferior movie, but is funny because of Dr. Evil (everything involving Austin falls flat). The third one was just a tired joke that got told too many times.

That being said, a fourth one will only be made if Mike Myers wishes to destroy the respect he has been building up in Hollywood since he quit making them. Besides, if he revisits any franchise, it should be Wayne's World. The characters there can still be explored (What happens when a loser 20-something metal head, who lives in his parents basement with no prospect of a future becomes a 40-something metal head loser who lives in his parent's basement whom the world has passed by).

Unfortunately I think there is some bad blood between Carvey and Myers and it woulnd't work without both of them.

The ending of Goldmember ruined the future of the franchise because it made Doctor Evil a good guy and a brother.
Scott Evil isn't good enough, IMO. Maybe they will write up an entirely new villain for the fourth, somehow?

One great thing is that Goldmember will be Fat Bastard's replacement.

I love all the Austin Powers movies equally.
I'll have a favorite depending on my mood.
