But what about the whole I will give you refuge thing. I got the impression that he was anit-reg but wouldn't get involved in the fighting...

Unless of course that's part of some greater plot...my head hurts:confused:

Hes anti-reg.

Wait a minute none of the runaway's are in the picture!
And what about the rest of the young avengers?!? :p

Wow. Is that why everybodies saying it's Rand that's a traitor? Pfft, that's some pretty vague evidence to support the idea.

Yup, and anywho, im pretty sure the traitor will be from the Pro-Reg side.

No he fought against the pro-regs with Cap in #3.

He's deffinatly against it. Making sure his future doesn't happen I guess.:)

But at the same time didn't he take over a country and offers safe haven to any super humans in said country?

I don't think it'll be Iron Fist. He's getting his own comic shortly, so I don't think it will be with him as a villain.

My guess would have been with Cable, but I think he's joining the X-men shortly and they're apparently going anti-reg. At least that's what I got from X-men:Civil War. On a side note, Bishop as a fascist bad guy is an interesting twist.

Maybe the traitor is a marvel character that hasn't seen too much action in recent years, and this is a ploy to thrust them into the limelight.

I don't think Cable would go traitor on them. In the Cable/Deadpool issue, he made quite appearant why he chose the anti-reg, to stop his future from coming true. If he went traitor, he would be working against his own purpose.

See, this is how ridiculous fanboy speculation happens. "OMG! Stature isnt in that pic, shes the traitor!!!" We dont even kno in what context or period of time the issue takes place.

It makes better sense when you read the solicit itself.

CAPTAIN AMERICA #24

Written by ED BRUBAKER
Penciled by MIKE PERKINS
Cover by STEVE EPTING
CIVIL WAR tie-in
In the midst of the Civil War, Cap faces his worst fears, as friends desert his cause, and comrades in arms lie dead or wounded. And among all this, the Red Skull begins to make his moves, with a few startling comrades of his own this time. This stunning conclusion of DRUMS OF WAR sets the stage for the next year of Captain America stories that will have everyone talking!
32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$2.99[/FONT]

Notice comeradeS(plural) and the word "traitor" is most likely a friend deserting his cause.

Sounds more like somebody just saying screw you guys, i'm gonna go chillax with Ben Grimm in Amsterdam and bang two prostotutes at a time while smoking Hash in a police station.

Comrades is referring to people with the Red Skull and the word traitor doesnt even show up. And deserting doesnt mean traitor. Next.

Yet he wants to take over the world, or at least that's the impressions Cable/Deadpool book gives.

It really wouldn't matter too much whose side he was on if he did try to take over the world. Betraying one side would take out a hefty chunk of heroes that would stand in his way, especially when they're imprisoned in the Negative Zone.

Plus with Nate's habit of schemes upon schemes, it does make you wonder what side he's on no matter the subject. If his own former lover Domino can't trust him, then who can?

OK, now that I read the descript I don't think much of it. It reads as if someone just leaves the group. To do what, God knows. Not to mention that I haven't seen this mentioned in solicits for the main Civil War books so it might not even be an important character.

I will fight you all.:(

well, considering jessica drew's a triple agent and now on cap's side, i'd guess if there is a traitor, it'd be her.

Or Sharon Carter (god I hope I'm getting that damn blonde's name right)....

Could still be her?

(She has been tight with him in Capt...and I do mean tight, wink wink, nudge nudge.)
