I feel that way. I've talked to others too......

not at all , good balance of revelation and character development

The last 2 episodes have definitely dragged.

Depends on what the endgame is. If the season finale is going to be the heroes' stopping the big explosion, then no. If that's going to be the major threat for the entire series, then yes.

Not at all,it's moving at a great pace so far.

I found the Nikki/DL episde very boring and slow.

But this week's really picked up alot.

Nope. The pacing is spot on. I don't think all the characters should be fighting the forces of evil together in the first season...that's a horrible idea. Things need to build. Personalities need to grow, adjustments to their new powers need to happen. Season 3 should be when they start to work much closer as a team.

Are you crazy? This show has one of the fastest paced first seasons I have ever seen. If this was on fox or something peter would still be a nurse, hiro would be reading comics in japan, and mohinder would be having wacky adventures as a taxi driver.

There's no way to know that. We dont' know where this season is leading too, we dont' know what things they want to put along the way. How can we possibly know the proper pace if we don't know what's goign to happen?

The pacing is great...especially for the amount of characters involved. Sure each episode has a central focus but the pace of each is great. Plus with big deal episodes like "Homecoming" on the way... they have to kinda build everything up.

i think it's moving perfectly along.

but yea i agree episode 6 was a little slow.

it's moving way too slow... especially compared to Lost season 1 which had as many charaters. I think the main problem with the show is that each episode doesn't leave you with a strong cliffhanger, but merely a cool scene that's unresolved. That's just my opinion though.

Plus the acting is not that great. THe characters are interesting, but that doens't mean much is the actors don't bring them out.

Eh...gotta disagree. I think the acting has been fantastic. Each episode has ended with a strong cliff-hanger like ending that really makes you want to find out what happens next. Just like in a comic. :)

Agreed :o

The last two episodes- eh, not that great of pacing.... seemed to drag on too slowly. But, I have a feeling it's going to speed up again.

With the large amount of characters this show has,it's bound to drag in places.

Taking its time, yes. Moving slow, no.

Nah its moving perfectly. Lost......that show moves slow. Its been 2 years and noone still knows the reason they are on that island.

niki's story is starting to bug me. i really dont like their story. it feels liknd of lost in the middle of everything to me. peter is my fav but since he needs to get back in the game. he character was awesome in the episode where he and issac and mohinder started to meet up and he got a message from future hiro on the subway, but he hasnt been doin much since then. i agree with others. so long as the new york explosion is resolved sometime within this season or at least the season finale of next (this show has been doing awesome you know there will be) season, ill be good.

when that show first came on, i watched like the first three episodes and stopped because i could just tell that show was just going no where.

of course its a dragg! how else are they suppose to have to show to run for an odd 5 -7 seasons! they arent gona give away all the secrets in the 1st season! i bet we wont find out how they came to b unitl the last few eps of the last season! kinda like lost! a bigg draggggg!
but dont get me wrong! i love both series! u gota love hiro!!!!

After watching another episode I don't thing the acting and pacing that's makign this show seem slow, as I initially thought. It's those voice overs suck. who the heck writes this show? Hiro is pretty cool though... probably the best character in the show. The music sucks also... needs to be more dramatic and probably the show's biggest downside IMO

Better than Lost, not as good as 24.

I feel that every episode has seduced me into watching the next episode because of cliffhangers.

^ thats how great shows work, they keep you wanting more ^_^

and if this show goes any faster just spoon feeding us info, we wont get a full season of episodes lol

I don't think so... I think every episode contains important information that tells us something about the bigger picture... rather like pieces of a puzzle. Also the show isn't just driven by the overall narrative but also by the characters and their motives.

Although I'm not a big fan of Niki, I still think that she is part of that puzzle and I'm sure that will become more apparent as time goes on.
At least we learn something all the time... unlike a certain other television show about a survivors of a plane crash, which is turning into a tease.

Exactly...it's the same as Lost...little details can have massive importance. I love that kind of writing.
