I think for Hiro it's cos he is overpowered. If he had complete mastery and control of it, he would be god-like, not going to be doing anything wrong.

The same reason Superman needs Kryptonite, Captain America needs his shield and Hulk is a mental basket case. It's the story, without the story you might as well just be reading Hero Wikis all day for tidbits of information and POWAH that have no order, meaning, point or message. Also, real people need mental crutches to function anyway, why should people with powers be immune?

No... that was changed when Hiro took Ando from Japan... remember, that timeline's Ando said he hadn't seen Hiro for five weeks, because Hiro had dissappeared from the timestream for five weeks... timeline changed...

As for the topic itself, I hope so. Ando is a great character, but Hiro should develop and not be stagnant. Perhaps him taking on a new travelling partner (Claire would be AWESOME) could be interesting.. but all in all, I think it's good that Hiro goes it alone for a while and or develops new friendships...

I don't think it's the last time we see of Ando. He might show up and help Hiro, because thats how they "roll".

i think that ando and hiro were great together but i do think that hiro will become a greater hero without him

Well Ando is in the next weeks promo. He seemed to be in a security guard outfit standing next to Hiro(who had his sword) on top of the Deveaux building.
