is there any truth to the rumors saying that "the batman" would do the long halloween storyline to introduce two-face? and i also read somewhere that both nightwing and robin(as dick grayson) would be in the show. i know robin is coming but nightwing?

Second half is right. First half is something I didn't know about. It wasn't revealed. Let me find out.

As of now, the only part of this that has been officially anounced is that Robin and Nightwing WILL, in fact, be appearing. More info will be found out at the San Diego Comic-Con next week. I'll be attending the con, and bringing as much info/media as i can back with me :)

A great question.

Nightwing and Robin will be appearing

however, the rest of that theory is all false

how can they do both nightwing and robin? is dick going to somehow age 15 years in 1 or 2 seasons?

Nightwign will appear in a future episode.

Interesting....I haven't watched the Batman on a consistent basis. If I see it on television I'll watch it. But I have had my eye on the season 1 set. I usually see it for about $14.99. It is kind of hard to pass up at that price.

It's worth the pick up, I got it for about that much at Wal-mart. With all the bad talk about the show I wasn't expecting much, but lo and behold I was pleasantly surprised. It's not as bad as everyone says it is. It has some bad moments, for sure, but what show doesn't?

Can't wait to see what Season 2 has to offer when it comes out on DVD.

I was thinking about getting the first and second season on dvd are the dvds anygood?

the show is not that good. the animation is but the character designs and stories are pretty lame. i hated the mr. freeze episode. it made him the villain batman created, a title that should be reserved for the joker. also not having gordon there from the beginning was lame.

I have heard this floating around but I don't know what truth there is to it.

it might end up being the season finale or something like that.

The Long Halloween is waaaaaaaaaaay too cool and smart to be adapted to "The Batman" :down

It bugs me that some people WANT this show to be worse than BTAS.

it already is.......but i wouldn't mind having the halloween story in here...

actaully the season finale for season 4 has to do with aliens and martian manhunter.

who thinks that batman:tas was bad? it was groundbreaking. it made you feel for the characters. they made mr. freeze cool (no pun intended). it was great. the batman on the other is just a lame attempt to cheapen the franchise.

No, it's not. it's an attempt to get younger viewers interested in Batman, and as far as I can tell, it's working. For younger viewers, it's not a bad show, and in many ways it's better than most shows aimed at kids.

Actually I read that after the sucess of the batman vs dracula, they might actually do a straight to dvd version, introducing Twoface.

It would be cool if Josh Lucas voiced Two-Face :D
This show is very much modern and believeable to watch for fun, even though they say that this hasn't to do anything with Batman Begins, IMHO feel that some of these character ideas would be very well translated into Cinema, if done well. But for value, Batman:TAS was and is classic. It was amazing!

Josh Lucas?
A cool Glenn Talbotish voice for him

yeah but they could still do that and not change the mythos.
