A big failure in Sunday's episode was how the Night's King didn't start his attack on Hardhome by saying "Lets kick some ice!".

Yeesh, I hate how petulant my mother is. She wanted to watch something livestreaming and for me to hook it up to her tv, she gave me about two minutes then told me never mind and took it back since I was taking too long. Then she complained that my uncle could just plug his in and watch it. I told her it would take some time and she refused to listen. Now she's sulking while watching it on her laptop. The thing is I told her I could set it up before and offered to do it several times over the last year or so, she refused every time and now it's too late.

And yes I do realize it sounds like a G2K post without the "everyone hates me" bit.

Yea I am still on the fence on whether I am going to continue watching Game Of Thrones. Like, I said the overall story and action is kinda cool but it gets dull after and while and the graphic nudity and sex scenes get annoying.

All good man, I think the last one I saw was episode 3 of this season if I'm not mistaken. New place I moved into doesn't have HBO

They do add more sex in the show than what was in the books. One character's entire subplot in the fourth book seems to have been dropped in favor of just giving him sex scenes. I say seems, because even as we near the penultimate season, it looks like they are casting a couple of big roles from book four.

The action didn't really grab me until Watchers on the Wall. The character arcs with Robb, Theon, Cersei, Jaime, Brienne, the Hound are what hooked me. I'm really fond of the themes they're tackling with Stannis, Mel and Davos. You have Mel doing horrible things (burning people alive at the stake) while Stannis and Davos just watch it all happen. Throughout it Mel's going on about the Long Night, death marching on the Wall...and the kicker is that she is right. Plus other developments that crop up later in respect to one of the story's more shocking events.

My coworkers at the gas station and I are organizing a coup against our manager. This ****er simply does not know how to schedule consistently. Been on graveyards all this week, off at 5am tomorrow morning, have to be back at 2pm tomorrow afternoon. Seriously.

It's the consistency of the schedule that I have a real problem with. You cannot be changing people's schedules up because it messes with sleep patterns and simply it facilitates more exhaustion on my part.

I always thought that they should make a Pg-13 version as well of each episode. I think that would bring in a larger audience.

GRRM's idea was to take a warts and all approach to fantasy. Like, you still have people performing great deeds of valor, nobility etc. You also have the consequences of their actions without the sanitization that robs said deeds of their humanity (and makes them a tad bland, for me). It seems to be working well for HBO, at the moment. Theatrically, I think a PG-13 release would be the wiser choice with a director's cut release on dvd.

Much like many old HBO shows of the past like the Sopranos once this show is all said and done you better believe there will be a bidding were for the cable TV rights of that show. First someone is going to want it exclusive for awhile and then any channel with the funds will get it. And they will be able to censor all the good bits that need censoring with no problem and edit it down to fit in with the commercials (or maybe they just do it for an hour and a half).

Well I bought this $25 starter deck from the new dragons one and a couple booster yesterday but then today I bought a fat pack and 8 boosters. Ended up making an ok W/R/B deck but I'm gonna tinker with it some more. I plan on going down to one of the local shops tomorrow night for Friday night Magic and goofing around for a bit. You play Vic?

Yes I play Modern. Mine's B/G/R. Lots of hand destruction, creature destruction, and some burn. I was lucky enough to come by 4 Tarmogoyf before its price skyrocketed, and this seemed like the best deck to take advantage of it.

My decks are standard right now. I played a ton when I was young but literally just started trying to get into it again yesterday (and I already dropped $130 on it haha). I have enough to build another deck but don't really have too many sets of anything yet. The one I built today is a little too thick but I just need to tweek it some
