Ah yes....The good ol South Dallas Swagg. I love my city lol. And this is how I react to the news as well lol.
Yea, I'm sure he's not familiar with comics. It's not like Superman & Batman aren't up there with Spider-Man as the most popular superheroes of all time. It's not like this Chris guy has ever heard about them before.

The Hype jumping to conclusions? Never.I think some here are jumping to conclusions to what Mr. Terrio knows or doesn't know.

The only dialogue that made me cringe in MOS was when Superman said "You're a monster Zod, and I'm going to stop you". It reminded me of similar dialogue in TDKR when Bane says "So you've come back to die with your city?" and Batman replies "No I came back to stop you". Surely someone could have come up with a better response than that.

Still better dialogue than in a Michael Bay movie.

Yeah, I laugh that everytime I see TDKR I'm like "What? lol"
Anyway don't you think it's a bit late in the game to bring another writer? Don't they start shooting like in February?
Take that back. YOU TAKE THAT BACK!
Pfft. I'd rather have Orci and Kurtzman rewriting this motion picture.

Orci and Kurtzmann made ... Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Star Trek into Darkness. They have a distinctive style.

You mean having several female characters that don't really contribute much to the story and are there only for visual gratification regarding the Male viewers?lol
Hipsters.
I loved Star Trek 09 and STID BTW.![]()
I agree with you. I noticed the same when I watched both films. Bale/Batmans response to Bane in that scene could have been soooooo much better. The moment was so suspenseful and you can tell it really got the audience pumped for Batman vs Bane Round 2, but Batmans response was such a let down. It kind of ruined the moment. Maybe if Bale said "If I die stopping you Bane.....than so be it!"
Then maybe have a close up of Batman and Bane faces before they engage each other.
Supermans line during the final battle with Zod was too reminiscent of that scene at the end of TDKR.
I mean, you figure Bale and Cavill would improvise a bit or Nolan and Snyder would want to have a different take right?
There will always be some comic book-like dialogue in a comic book film.

Vulcan's are three times stronger than humans (hence why Spock effortlessly beat the crap out of Kirk in ST 09) and he was really angry. Spock was the only one who stood ANY kind of a chance against Khan. Also, Spock didn't really beat Khan on his own, he needed Uhura's help to finally subdue him.I feel like it's the "cool thing" to bash Im3, STID, and MOS. Though I can sympathize more with people who dislike Im3.
I also feel like STID did a good job of showcasing Pine's acting and has a stronger villain than its predecessor, though it kind of all disintegrates near the end of the second act.Khan can handle a whole Klingon army pretty much all by himself, but gets flattened by Spock?
Still, it's fun for what it is, and I think it has scenes of emotional depth by showing the toll of being a leader in difficult circumstances by this Kirk.
Not really, Uhura had a purpose in ST 09 and both she and Carol were pretty well done, and both actresses were great. You mean having several female characters that don't really contribute much to the story and are there only for visual gratification regarding the Male viewers?lol
