Comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Part 2

I’m so used to Glenn Howerton having the same hairstyle for the entire duration of the series that it’s almost shocking to see him with hair that short.

Glenn Howerton is a planetary treasure.

As an avid listener of the podcast, I've gotta say it's about time.

Do you guys think it'll take Danny DeVito's death to end this?

I would hope that the show ends before DeVito shuffles off this mortal coil but if that were to happen I think they would definitely write it into the show. After all, he wasn't there at the very beginning. He made the show better but the rest of the cast still could carry it on their own if that were to hypothetically happen, though I don't think they'd want to continue it without him for long.

Okay, the newest episode of the Always Sunny podcast made me laugh so hard that I had to pull over on my drive home. I can't post the link to it because of language but all I'll say is around the 40 minute mark, if you ever wondered what John Wayne would be like with a SoCal surfer dude accent, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day got you covered.

After only watching the first 1-2 episodes when they aired, I just caught up on the last season.

Didn’t realize they’d spend a whole half-season in Ireland. But it makes sense, I guess. If you’re going to pick up the whole production and move it across the world, you’re probably going to want more than just 22 minutes out of it.

“He’s hanging on.”
“Doesn’t sound like it.”

:lmao:

I admire the audacity of suddenly revealing close family members of a main character 18 years into a show’s run.

Did Rob shave just for the allergy prosthetics in the first episode? Clean-shaven Mac is weird to get used to.

Nice to finally know what's behind those doors in Charlie and Frank's apartment.

Everyone hanging up on Dee was excellent. Really enjoyed the first 2 eps, so far this season is already outranking the last 2 for me.

"The Gang Gets Cursed" indeed, I was clutching my pearls with that language. :o

Now I watched it on Hulu but for those of you who watched it on FXX, did they actually air those c-bombs uncensored?

They did. I don't believe it's the first time, but since they've been on FXX, compared to FX, feels like they've been given way more liberty to throw around the F and C-bombs no problem!

It’s amazing to look back and remember that adding Danny DeVito was a Hail Mary attempt to get the show another season, and somehow that turn into a 17-year-long (and counting) role.

It’s crazy enough to think that, given how essential he is to the show, there was an entire season without him.

Frank has been the insane glue that holds the show together.

Should’ve gotten Howerton an Emmy.

This one felt a little tame for Sunny.

I enjoyed it, it felt like an early season Sunny episode for the most part with the exception of Dennis screaming at Dee on the phone.
