*casually throws bull**** flag*

I haven't spent a single penny on any Marvel Fox property since Origins. I watched First Class at my stepmoms dads place on HBO and I saw DoFP on HBO at the place I used to rent at. I don't have any shirts or hats from non-MCU properties except for an Avengers be X-Men trucker hat that is sold directly by Marvel. I'm not gonna sit here and act like the redband Deadpool trailer was dope or the Apocolypse trailer is decent but I'm not going to pay to see either of them. So your BS flag is being thrown when there is no BS about good sir

Simon Kinberg confirmed a year ago that Apocalypse takes place in 1983, so I'm not sure what some of you are talking about.

Aziz said 2010 = 80's so I thought he was saying that's when the movie takes place. He was also asking why the actors where younger. I don't follow Fox properties so I thought he knew something I didn't

That's an odd sentiment to have given that Fox's X-Men run has been of far more consistent quality than the MCU.

WHO WINS
:mnm:

I wouldn't say the X-Men franchise and the MCU overall has been appreciably better or worse than each other.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other, (even though I far prefer X-Men personally), but X-Men has been more consistant than MCU has certainly.

I think The Winter Soldier, First Class, and Days of Future Past are all among the top rung of CBMs.

well it is easier to be more consistent with half as many movies.

They've both had great memorable films to mediocre and outright bad films too. But, I personally find myself more emotionally invested in the FOX/Marvel X-Men characters than the MCU characters. I'd say the only character I really am genuinely emotionally invested in from the MCU is Captain America.

There's been 8 X-Men films so far and 6 of them have been pretty good to great. There's a lot more mediocrity with Marvel Studios run IMO.

Plus with Marvel spamming us with 4 films a year soon, there's going to be plenty of misses. At least Fox and WB make other films and will be able to scale it back.

I just want to say that Arrow is better than anything Marvel has ever done. :o

*jumps off a bridge*

X-Men's had about the same ratio of hits to misses as the MCU, imo.

The Wolverine was a great film. Reek, you're not only insane, but actively evil as well.
