I live in an apartment which I don't have to shovel myself, so I'd rather have the cold. It's better than shoveling snow, I admit. But it does make it feel less like the holidays.![]()

More, or less frustrating than what CW is doing with FLASH and ARROW?
They are pretty darn frustrating. They can't be that frustrating.
Supergirl![]()
They are pretty darn frustrating.
Lol, that's awesome.

Apartment.... 23?
Ooh... That's dirty pool but... No. Not even close. The X-Men films are at least competently written, have good production values ect. and there isn't a total undermining of the lead characters baked into their approach. I REALLY enjoyed Flash last season, despite hiccups along the way because, hey, first season shake downs, right? But this season is having the SAME issues, and it's too formulaic. Look, ALL super hero stories are formulaic to one degree or the other but JESUS Berlanti, change it up once in a while. I can't cotton to the idea at this point that the DCTVU is inherently better than the DCEU cause, reasons attitude that a lot of posters here have. No... Just no, If someone had that idea that team up crossover should have wiped that from their mind.
I love Jackman as Logan but... The X-Men films are, as a fan of the comic, a bit, same ole' each time out. How many times are they going to do a film where Erik teams with them only to betray them? How many times are we going to have to go through punking Scott to give Wolverine the spotlight? I also just feel the movies low ball too many of the characters' powers NOT named Magneto. Finally... I think that the casting has had some knock it out of the park choices (Xavier, Mags, Logan, Rogue) and a lot more lackluster or bad ones. I hope that we get something very different this time out, again, as much as I like Jackman in the role, it will be nice to see another X-Men movie where he's not the center. Truth be told I think I might wait for APOCALYPSE to get onto disc or On Demand since I've never really liked that character at all.
Oh, and as for Jackman's Logan in general, I think the shame in the future is going to be someone making a REALLY strong Wolverine solo film that is universally praised and a big hit, but a lot of us will be, "Damn... Why could Jackman have been in this one?"
I love my house, just not the outside maintenance so much. Thank goodness my husband doesn't mind doing that.I live in an apartment which I don't have to shovel myself, so I'd rather have the cold.![]()

Replace "Wolverine" with "Iron Man" and "Jackman" with "Downey" and Fox with Marvel and you have my feelings exactly. I wish that Marvel had the depth and craft of the X-Men films.
We might still get that with his swan song performance. Him, Mangold, possibly Liev Schrieber returning as Victor Creed, the ingredients are there. I mean personally I thought the Wolverine was a knockout film even if it wasn't perfect. If they can smooth out the bumps (the last act of the previous one) I think they can go out on a high note.
In terms of the X Men films themselves, I look at DOFP for instance, and yeah it has Wolverine as a central character and it had the formula of Magneto betraying them, but ultimately that film is about Charles Xavier and it's his character arc carries the film. I kind of view the thematic and emotional elements of the story as something that supersedes the rest. The film felt like a love letter to Xavier's dream and McAvoy delivered one hell of a performance, so I personally really dug it. At least enough to see them continue that with Apocalpse.
But in regards to CW,do you have any inclination towards Heroes of Tomorrow and those characters? And what about Gotham? How do you view that?
That's a hilarious position to take considering you can't name one FOX-Men movie without Jackman whereas over half of the MCU has nothing to do with RDJ
Deadpool. And I suppose a five second cameo in First Class equates to him dominating the film in your mind.
You good?
