I went to see Krampus today and one of the trailers that played was for the movie "The Forest". I wonder how someone would decide to make a movie about Aokigahara and make something that looks very bland.

Was Krampus good? It looked entertaining.

In those kinds of situations you have a few options:

1) Drink coffee and/or energy drinks
2) Get an 8-ball of coke
3) Free-base some meth

Number one is obviously the safe option, but you haven't lived until you've been up for a week in a drug-fueled haze. It's especially fun when the hallucinations kick in.

Me personally, I just rock Monsters these days but I'll be damned if seeing some tweeker at Walmart at 4 am isn't always a hoot

We usually get our first snow by the end of October here. It's three weeks to Christmas and nothing but faint flurries a couple days. It's in the 50s right now.

Can't help but wonder if it's global warming at work.

No snow yet. We had rain and high winds. Normally we get snow end of december-february. We've had it in April before.

It's been warm here but it's the calm before the storm. We're going to get dumped on starting January, no doubt. Same as last year. It was every weekend until the end of February.
