This is such a tough choice. Where Jack looks more like the comics version, there's something about Heath that I just love. It wierd becasue at first, I really didn't like TDK Joker, but I've seen so much that it's basically one of the best, if not the best, Joker interpretations I've seen. I'm gonna have to say Heath. Oh, and Dead End sucks not only for the Joker, but mainly for the freakin' Alien vs. Joker vs. Batman vs. Predator! Talk about wasting your budget.

Yeah i agree... the jacks joker looks funny.. the joker isnt supposed to look funny or be funny for that matter
 
I like them both and don't really think they can be compared. They both were going for two different styles. Heaths looks very demented and creepy, if I were to see him in a alley at night I'd get chills and speed up. But I think "The Joker" is going to have to come out in his performance, unlike Jack's which is the prototypical Joker.
 
I'm all for the "Out with the old, In with the new", so my pick is for Heath. He has The Joker down perfectly as far as attitude and personality goes. As for the "looks", I can deal with the make-up just fine. Have no problems with it.

Jack provided a campy/slicker version of The Joker, which is totally fine. Jack's version worked very well for Batamn '89. I will always watch '89 and enjoy it with Jack as The Joker. But time's change, and with change comes differant images. Heath's Joker is intense and compelling. He's a complete mix of every Joker we've ever seen or read about before. My choice for who I prefer is Heath Leger's Joker. So many layers to that character Heath has portrayed than Nicholsons, which will make it so much more enjoyable.

Heath's joker is so cool looking that any other joker, from the comics or other wise just falls short next to him, in my opinion. He is as dirty and classy as he ought to be and hes as funny and serious as he ought to be. Just put any joker figure next to a heath joker figure and I think that sums it up.

HEATH! by far....He has the right look and better acting, not saying Jack was bad. I always thought Heath's joker was true to the comic books:hoboj:

I've noticed this on 4chan as well as on here, and I'm wondering - how did all these people whose messages consist mainly of, "Heath's Joker iz tha best, eff the comics Joker. Stoopid string tie," etc., ever get through even one issue of any Batman comic?


On that note, I'm at a loss - I think my ideal Joker would probably be somewhere in the middle, as there are a lot of elements I like from either.
 
A perma-white Joker with pure green hair and NO cut-smile with a personality similar to Heath's Joker would be my ideal 'movie' Joker.
