Jackman equals Reeve record

Didn't the guy who played Jimmy Olsen in the Reeve movies also play him in Supergirl, giving him the record of 5? Or does he not count?

Of course, if Jimmy Olsen counts, so should Commissioner Gordon (Pat Hingle) and Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Gough) both with 4 movies, as they are also superhero characters, just not heroes themselves.

Yes, but he wasn't a "superhero".

As far as I know, Connery did 6, Moore did 8 and Brosnan just 4.

Sean Connery did 6 official Bond movies and one unofficial Bond movie. Roger Moore did 7 James Bond movies.

EDIT:

At the end of the day both Connery and Moore played Bond seven times.

EDIT:

As for Reeve and Jackman...I guess they will be tied at 4 for big screen "superheroes" while actors like Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper, Pat Hingle, and Michael Gough are tied at 4 for "characters" in superhero/comic book adaptations. And, yes, Marc McClure is the actor who has appeared in the most superhero/comic book adaptations with 5 appearences as Jimmy Olson. But this thread is about the superheroes not the supporting characters.

One actor playing a superhero character in four seperate theatrically released movies is, as far as I can tell, a record only matched by Christopher Reeve.

Wesley Snipes, Tobey Maguire, and many of the X-Men cast are on three. Halle Berry has been in four movies but played Catwoman as well as Storm. Michael Gough played Alfred four times.

i think tobey will come back again to play spiderman but that would be his only competition
