All this sounds awesome !it seems we have a date finally
I think it comes down to getting ahead of paparazzi/fan pictures. They've been filming this for months and we haven't seen even one blurry pic, probably because the filming in the suit has happened on a soundstage or under such darkness no one outside of the production would be able to make anything out. Stargirl should, I imagine, begin production soon and given the vibe of the show, I imagine there will be a fair amount of that actress running around, fully-costumed, in the broad daylight. Gotta get ahead of that.Great to hear but I wish we got a glimpse of the costume! The show is coming out in 2 months... Stargirl is coming out NEXT YEAR!!
Completely accurate. If this was being filmed outside in the open, I think we would have seen Swampy by now. Great post.I think it comes down to getting ahead of paparazzi/fan pictures. Totally agree. At this point, I'm expecting them to keep his look under wraps until the show hits, especially considering the WonderCon audience didn't get a look at him. But I do find it questionable that we don't have footage of any sort yet.
WILMINGTON -- The locally filmed television series “Swamp Thing” has found itself bogged down by some unexpected news.
The currently in-production project is being shut down earlier than expected as its producer, Warner Bros., evaluates the future of its DC Universe streaming service, on which the series was scheduled to premiere May 31, according to several sources within the local industry.
Local crew members were notified of the unexpected development Tuesday night, and were told the project would wrap production on episode 10 and then halt as writers and producers rewrite an ending. Initially, the show was scheduled to film 13 episodes through May.
It is unclear when that ending would be shot in Wilmington, though several more days of reshoots for previously filmed episodes are expected.
Are we though? It HAD to be Swamp Thing that got compromised of all things. Goddammit.
At least we are getting 10 episodes.
