Oh, long wait! But a WB streaming service will be even better than just DC, so I don’t mind waiting for that.I don’t think it will be for a while, they’re still working out the bugs and it sound like it’s going to become a part of the WB streaming service. So I think we’re looking at 1-2 years until it comes out outside the US. I think too with them making deals with Netflix for Titans and probably Doom Patrol that they’re probably not in a rush.

I always said that needed to be done when a DC app first came up. You either price very aggressively to match how much content you have or you put out more content. Disney aren’t trying to launch separate apps for Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, classics etc as that isn’t what consumers want. If it was all DC comics then more fans would pay up but you need a lot more films and shows to keep consumers long term. I really hope this new show universe succeeds and carries on though.DCU’s future is in question. They ceased production on Swamp Thing. What does this mean for Titans s2? Pretty sure they’re already filming that too. DC Universe was a bad idea. Not enough content for that price. They don’t even have all their movies and shows on there or all their comics. MAYBE if they had that it would warrant the price but as it is, it’s a ripoff and big disappointment. I already paid for a year subscription because I’m a DC superfan, but there aren’t that many people like me.
DCU will 100% be folded into the WB streaming service and can have a safe future there.
