It is. But when I first saw that image the one thing that popped into my mind was the headline, "Will Smith in Talks to Play Captain America?!"

You know I thought the DD costume was decent except the cowl part it was awful. Good manip though Love you font for Captain America and the A on Avengers is cool different what font is that?

My concept for cap was with the asumption that Tony stark would have a part to play in the creation of the tech and uniform for the Avengers. I would like to think that Tony, being the egotistical fellow that he is, would put a splash of his design in the suit for Steve.

well heres my entry, I was originally goin to do a manip costume design but decided to go for this after my gran recently showed me a picture of her father in the trenches which he had sent back to her mother I figured cap would have probably done something similar and got the words after re-reading the ultimates :

wow...i don't know if i'm even going to finish mine now as i'd just vote for yours regardless. great work, but like others have said, maybe darken cap up just a tad so he doesn't stand out quite so much

The font is called Backlash (like the WWE Pay Per Veiw) I got it at dafont.com.

Okay, so the casting was half serious. I DO think that Jeremy Irons should play The Red Skull, but I DON'T claim that Bruce Willis should be Captain America. I just have no clue of who I think would be right for th character, so I just went with Bruce Willis because he is THE man.

Also, I'm no artist, so The art, color, porportions, shading are no doubt off. I just kind of did this for fun.

Some very nice designs and art on here. Withdrawing mine heh. I put no effort into it, thinking I'd just do a quick 5 min sketch with something I thought Hollywood would do. Then I see ppl putting some very good effort in, and coming up with kick ass designs. I might do another and put effort in, but compared to the others in here my 5 min sketch is embarrasing lol. (Which I know it's a contest for fun either way)

I really loved the design but wanted stuff changed so I did what little I knew how to in photoshop and i'm not claiming the whole design was me at all it was Gaston's but I thought it could be improved. Well I could have redrawn but I suck at drawing so I just modfied his anywho let me know what you think.

and for a close up of one thing i put on his head it's a little old scool but I like it:

There is also an american Flag on his shoulder. I wanted to add texture to the top half of the suit like chain mail but didn't know how.

It's more superheroish but this is what I would like to see in the second movie when he's thawed out and in avengers.

Yea that is awesome spidey-dude. But just like some others have said, I think if you darken Cap a little bit more, it would be 100% perfect. But major props anyway.
