Anyone looking forward to the rumored Hawkeye vs Black Panther fight? I think it's going to be epic. I think he could put up a better fight than Bucky, tbh. Well, that's provided that Clint can keep his distance and keeps pegging him with trick arrows.

There isn't more or less love about the Hawk. This movie has more than a dozen superheroes in it and i'm talking abut superheroes only. Falcon hasn't had a bump in almost the same time, Vision as well (it only got one earlier today after a very long time). Same as Ant-man. There are so many characters and the news about this movie are so low-key.

But yeah I don't expect much from Hawkeye so as long as his action is badass that's all we can hope for, for the character in a film like this.

Pointless character bashing aside, not really. There hasn't been much news about Hawkeye but that holds true for most of the Avengers in the movie. We already know these aren't major roles. Sharon Carter is an actual Captain America character so there's been more in the way of news or discussion material.

As long as he gets to do something cool, I'm fine with it.

Technically his suit should absorb the impact.

It’s not just about being durable, it has the ability to absorb energy. It’s not just like you hit it and it doesn’t take it. It has the ability to absorb the attack of another person and repel or respond to that attack. That’s part of the power.

Admittedly something Hawkeye hits him with is gonna have to work otherwise it would be an extremely uneven fight.

I wonder if these 1 v 1 fights that are rumored in the film, are mostly just mini skirmishes during the big airport battle.

Cap was knocked on his ass in TWS after his shield was hit with an rpg. Maybe it absorbs attacks, but not inertia?

I think he is still on leave. I tbink people were saying he was there when Scott was being introduced to Steve. So possibly they called Clint to pick up Scott and bring him there?

I do remember in an interview for AoU Renner said ( and this is probably the most insightful thing he has said about his character because everything else is "he is a normal guy with a high skill set"- which is true. But what else :P) that Hawkeye isn't loyal to any group or philosophy but he is loyal to Fury and Cap as people.
