Rumors of Superman in Exile support that.

That wouldn't make sense though. If we assume that considerable amount of time passed between Superman vs. Zod, and Clark being hired by Daily Planet, then how does a Superman in exile story make sense without some flashbacks?

I am glad. So done with that Lex.

That's one of the reasons I'm open to this so-called "out-of-the-box" casting choice. I get the sense they're trying to go in the opposite direction of those excessively cliche/over-the-top villain character portrayals we've already seen time and again.

In my opinion, Eisenberg is a much more interesting choice than Jon Hamm, Phoenix or Bryan Cranston.

Indeed, it seems like Metropolis is "better" by the end of MOS. DP guy asking Lois to join him for courtside seats... NBA games back on.

I can picture it now! LexCorp takes the business world by storm with its innovative technology. With his newfound wealth and cocky personality Lex goes on a war campaign and plans several hostile takeovers of aging businesses one of which is owned by Gotham renowned billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. :o

But how do you explain the LexCorp Oil company? The LexCorp Construction firm? The "LexCorp" Corporate headquaters in the middle of the city as if it's been there for years?

there's always the possibility that Lionel Luthor started the company and had his hand in those kinds of businesses.

Now that his son, Lex, is in charge, he wants to move the company towards a more tech/science direction.

could happen.

It already did.

If that were the case it would more likely be called Luthorcorp.

I can't see anyone letting their son take over a company and immediately changing the name of the corporation to their son's name.

Unless it's Lex Luthor senior which is a completely ******ed idea.

Also the LexCorp agricultural truck in kansas.

Any chance that we could still get a Lionel Luthor who is older? Maybe Cranston?

Oh I'm only going to nitpick when we have confirmed plot points and characterizations n stuff.

I'll need to see a clip to really make a judgement but this casting choice to me just comes across as ODD.

I hope they see something wonderful in him he just hasn't done on screen yet.

I saw a few interviews he gave where he was 'rumoured' to being a *****e/rude... if he bulks up, he can be a right arrogant fool spending his dad's money!!

The idea of Lex having a rich father sort of contradicts Lex's character.

One of the many reasons I despised Smallville.

maybe Lex is the one who changes the signs/branding from Luthorcorp to Lexcorp.

Maybe they're just hired contractors and they were told to slap on the LexCorp sticker for PR
