I was skeptical of Eisenberg as Lex, but the trailer completely convinced me that he is the perfect guy for the role.

Personally I'm more unsold on him after that. He was the only thing I disliked about the trailer. That 'Red Capes are coming' line delivery just made me cringe.

But apart from that the trailer is awesomesauce.

I love it. Lex's smug little smile and Superman's look of pure hate/disgust. The expression is so rare for this character; he even looked at genocidal Zod with a piteous/WTF? expression rather than what he's giving Lex here.

Eisenberg was the one thing from the trailer I did NOT like. It was like watching his version of Zuckerberg after he had a drink to give himself some balls.

Eisenberg came off like he was doing a very bad Johnny Depp impression. It all felt really forced and corny and fakey.
