Superman burns of Lex's hair
"Who needs Rogaine now"
Maybe Lex is already bald.
t: Johnny Depp?Eisenberg came off like he was doing a very bad Johnny Depp impression. It all felt really forced and corny and fakey.

Johnny Depp?
lol.
Johnny Depp?
lol.
His baldness has to do with exposure to the radioactive Kryptonite (that he himself probably synthesized).
Not a new theory, but it's the best fit in my opinion.
Yep I'd prefer that. The fact that it's actually radioactive in nature should still make it harmful to humans even at the same level of harm it could give Superman. That makes sense because if Superman derives power from Earth's radiation than anything blocking that should be harmful to the native population
At least Hackman and Spacey were genuinely funny and charming.
I hate that all the Lex Luthor's we've seen on film so far have looked like or acted like total weirdos.
Hackman. Weirdly dressed, whacky sidekicks, wig fetish, ridiculous cockamamamie schemes.
Spacey. GILF loving, terrible kryptonite island plan hatching weirdo with a wig fetish. Goofy sidekicks.
Eisenberg. Terrible, terrible dress sense, silly looking hair, neurotic awkward speech patterns. Stupid Paul Revere puns.
Just once can we get the smooth as silk on top, but rough and violent underneath, Machiavellian power broker, enough charisma to be elected president Lex Luthor.
Eisenberg Lex acts like he'd have a rough time getting elected High School president.

Bye.
Are you kidding me? They were the campiest joke of a character ever made.
Eisenberg's version is rooted in reality and he looses his hair in the film which is evident from the released bald picture. Evil Business men are not supposed sound evil, they are supposed to sound like Lexenberg
I mean, I'm a big fan of badass buff Lex, but the contrast between nerdy humanist Lex and Godlike Superman is my favorite.
Eh, to each his own, we'll see when the film gets here.I have nothing against that dynamic. I like that dynamic. I prefer that dynamic. I see no indication that Eisenberg's performance or Snyder's direction will execute that dynamic well.

Noone is saying Lex needs to be buff or physically intimidating.
But he should be smooth and commanding. Intimidating not because of his size, but because of his stern tone and confident demeanor.
Luthor should be like an evil Carl Sagan, in that when you hear him speak you have this feeling like no matter how much you read or study or try in life, you'll never be as cunning or intelligent as this man.
I don't get all the complaining about Luthor. We've only seen seconds - think about that, seconds - of footage, and already people are drawing comparisons and conclusions as if we know anything about him or what he has planned.
