JJ Abrams/Eric Kripke team up for NBC thriller 'Revolution' - Part 1

Caught up on the first 2 eps of the season!

So Aaron is truly the chosen one, Miles is still broody, Rachel is semi loony, Charlie has stropped off to sulk and have sex with randoms in alleys because of her Mommy issues, and the writers liked The Governor and Woodbury from The Walking Dead a whole lot.

The Patriots are an interesting addition, I think Neville will end up teaming with them instead of taking them down and his cardboard kid will finally cut himself loose.

Monroe is so gonna get some Charlie lovin'.

 She's "kinda" his "niece"

Eh, they grew up together and are portrayed as practically brothers

She would be his niece in the same way that if he had say married Rachel's sister and Charlie was her niece. He has no blood relation to her but it would still be creepy although not so much in this case. This would be a bit more on the sleazy side.

So the U.S. just used the war tribe like the nukes that destroy ATL & Philly. Come in for the last second save and become the town's saviors. They probably have 100's of similar operations happening across the country in each territory. Then lock down the place to keep the word from getting out because people will pick up on the pattern and revolt.

Charlie + Monroe would be weird when you factor in that brotherhood. I thought something might be looming between Charlie and the bounty hunter. But I don't think he's going to be in the picture long enough now. Monroe's going to get tired of butting him in the face with the shotgun and just blast him away.

Good laugh moment of the episode: Rachel's reaction to Aaron after he tells her that was the last thing he told his dad before he died. lol "Oh, thanks Aaron."

The writing staff changes/additions really helped this show.

Season two is really feeling like what I wish the show had been from the start. More exploring of this new America, less obsession over trying to accomplish something that negates the premise of the series.

I'm surprised they killed Titus off so quickly, it seemed like there'd be more to learn about him. I guess they want to keep the threat very much centered to The Patriots

Charlie and Monroe are going to become an interesting pairing, and I guess Bounty Hunter boy will be her new love interest.

In fairness, they didn't actually show Titus getting killed, did they?

True, it just seemed he outlived his usefulness unless he has other talents outside of controlling his misfits Road Warrior cast-offs, which the Patriots seemed to massacre anyway.

Bounty Hunter boy looking at Charlie's butt : you should wear a tank top belly !
Great suggestion !

"REVOLUTION"

"DEAD MAN WALKING"

10/30/2013 (08:00PM - 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : MILES CONSIDERS THE CONSEQUENCES OF MONROE’S ACTIONS – As Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos), Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Gene (Stephen Collins) question Monroe’s (David Lyons) true allegiance, Miles (Billy Burke) himself is weary of his former friend’s intentions. Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) continues to have visions that lead to endless questions.

Also starring Giancarlo Esposito, JD Pardo and Nicole Ari Parker.

She watched Spaceballs with you when your Dad died Ken, how could you? you bastard! :argh: :(

Good episode this week, I like the Patriots plot-line, the stuff with Monroe is interesting and Aaron now being directly connected to the nanites has intriguing possibilities.

Cool to see Webb from JAG as well. :D

This show is pioneering, not only does it kill off it's black characters, it makes them traitors first! :woot:

I was curious about that as well, he went from using the Nanites for remote viewing to being able to cause guys to spontaneously combust!

Man... This show has gotten a lot better in season 2. Now all I want is more badass monroe

How great of an addition is Stephen Collins, by the way?

Another great episode. I still hate Rachel with a passion. I really hope they find a way to kill her off in a horrific way. I love the development with Aaron, Neville, and the Patriots. I had forgotten the Patriots had taken Jason away. He is so forgettable that I actually did forget about him. lol

Monroe was great and I actually feel for the guy now. I think Charlie could have been a little more gracious towards him for saving her life.

The remote spontaneous combustion of the two Patriots by Aaron was an incredible escalation of powers. In one episode he went from just seeing through the fireflies to rocking the ground and burning people. I'm almost thinking that Aaron doesn't actually control the nanites. I think the nanites interpret his wishes and they make it happen. So when he saw Stu in trouble he thought of helping him and the nanites made it happen.

Family reunion tonight.

Miles & Monroe together are an unstoppable force of badassery. I laughed as they called out a city to form a strategy while Charlie is left clueless. "You're just naming cities!"

Did Aaron's girlfriend give Rachel the evil stare after she left? Don't tell me she's a patriot too.

Them Texas Rangers were pretty bad ass. Sucks Monroe killed the lead guy to push Miles war plan.

I hope that's not the end of Monroe. He's likable this season. They should have killed him last season when he was a *****e. I expecting some last second delay/save by Texas as they attack the compound.

Reprogramming camp? Wtf are they up to?

Aaron torching his GF's dick husband was quite enjoyable, even if it wasn't intentional.

I'm 50/50 on them actually offing Monroe. On one hand, this show hasn't shied away from killing main characters (four in the first season alone) and I feel like, just from showing it in the promo, they'd be expecting the audience to think they wouldn't actually go through with it. On the other, he's been so much more enjoyable this season.
