JL Casting Call Update

I am at least happy we are hearing something, keeping us occupied for a while until the final list comes out.

Though Docker does mention something interesting that I have suspected...this could be a fans dream cast and people would still b*tch about it!

This fan's dream would be Welling as Superman, but I'm sure somebody would complain about his short chin, young face, or lack of acting skillz. There's always a sourpuss in the audience. ;)

No that is a Smallville fan's dream cast...and not even a universal one. I like Smallville for what it is but I don't ever want to see Welling on the screen unless it was a continuation of the Smallville story.

We know that nothing is confirmed, but according to a big magazine - it is. I don't know about anyone else, but a magazine wouldn't risk their reputation on something as small as this.
 
Gale as Wonder Woman-- i'm ok with this. she's pretty much got it all. now lets just hope she doesnt suck as an actress.

Hammer as Batman-- riiiight. a 6'5 Batman? what his pointy ears not tall enough for yah? and the problem isnt so much as having a tall Batman, but to have a Superman shorter than him thats ridiculous, specifically 5'10 next to 6'5 ridiculous.

If that Zoe girl is really Iris, how in hell is Brody suppose to be her Nephew?
 
It's funny...People complained when Keaton was cast that he was too short to play Batman, and now this Hammer guy may be cast as the Dark Knight and people are saying he's too TALL?

Give me a break...
 
Palmer is supposed to be a very good actress in Australia from what I hear.
 
Another thing I notice, is we are getting leaks in 3.

2 weeks ago we got GL, Wally, Talia... today we got Iris, Bats, WW... If Im a betting man, I would say we get Sups, Lord, Aquaman in 2 weeks....
 
I don't know if moviehole is an "official" website...

This is the kind of comment I keep hearing both hear and on other forums 'Let's hope she's a good actress', I don't get it, this is Wonder Woman, I mean, don't people want someone who's a great actress or someone with a decent resume or at the very least, someone who's trained to be an actor, why are people so willing to accept Gale? Is it because she fits the physique more than anyone else mentioned? Do people just want to see the character so badly that they're willing to accept anyone who looks like the character regardless if she can act?

look it at this way... she is one of 10 lead characters. Well a good actress would be great, it may not be needed. As long as she doesn't mess up, people will be happy. Save the award winner for the solo movies... This is why I believe Jessica Biel turned the role down. Its not that she doesn't want to be WW, not about $$$, but the time she would be seen on camera sharing the role....
 
Ok i gave up on this a few weeks ago so let me get this straight
Its, gale, hammer, common, and brody in JL roles. Ok so where is this made official besides moviehole of all places :confused:
 
wooow miller is a fantastic director. i remember that when they said that JL is happening the main argument was. miller is a good director. dont be afraid.

now we are getting a model for WW.

go look in the wonder woman casting thread and you will find very little is different.
 
IMO in this case there isn't any connection between the words "confirmed" and "official".

The cast list posted by SHH can be real, but the movie could have been scapped in any moment.
Even Bomer was cast by Ratner.

I wonder only why we have not any official press release if the cast is locked.

We have no official word from WB and until we do I'm holding out hope for a better cast to be announced
