Welling is my first choice. Duh! LOL Always will be far and above anybody else I can imagine or hope for as Superman.

As far as your list, Duhamel would be second, Cavs third, and Routh fourth for me. But don't let me putting Routh last color the argument. As much as I didn't care for him in SR, Routh on his worst day still seems a 1000 times better than any of the other candidates rumored so far. There. I said it.

I was wondering this: Should the superman of JLA be a more macho superman...ala 1950s portrayal? I.e.... "How fast do you fly?" "I can fly faster than Mach 3! " OR should the actor do a Christopher Reeve improv and be humble ? I really think, given all the testosterone going into this movie with all these superheroes, a meek and mild Superman will be out of place. I would play superman with a bit more aggression, "General! Would you like to step outside?" attitude... What do you guyz think ?

I think he should be like the patriarch of the team. That means confident, assertive and forthright, but not overbearing. In the end, he is the ultimate alpha male - everyone looks up to him and thinks he knows best ... except for Batman, who really knows that HE knows best.

Yeah the Superman from the end of the Justice League Unlimited cartoon kicked ass I loved his attitude.

Still nothing offical from WB. WOW! With fliming now to start in what 56 days this is going to happen? I hope that rumor is right about the new WB Pres. wanting to make the announcement when he takes over. But dang! we have some tight lipped actors if nothing else.

Tight lipped? Not really. If the rumors are true, then we pretty much already know the entire cast with the exception of a few roles.

Yea, some of these are stickin, but I still don't buy the DJ as Superman. If Hammer is Batman then DJ wouldn't work as Superman. So I have to rule DJ out for now. And this thing depends a ton on who they cast as him. And no real soild rumors on Barry? I wounder why?

So that's how DJ got his name tossed into the ring. But that Hispanic guy thing I am thinking was just one those fake rumors that was being tossed around. Then again so many fake rumors who can tell on this one.

Yep. Iris was saying it was a hispanic guy. That caused some speculation about it possibly being Eddie Cibrian or DJ Cotrona or Mario Lopez (just kidding). Then SHH came out with that article. I was really hoping that it might have been Eddie Cibrian (out of those rumored).
