JL Casting Call Update

The O.C was good until mid-way through season 3.
Adam Brody always brought great humour to the show.

Allen Heinberg, who also writes for Greys Anatomy and wrote for Young Avengers was the writer.

Season 4 was better than any of the previous seasons though. :o:up:

Season 4 was much better than season 3.
Season 1 will always be my favorite.

I think Season 4 was when the show finally stopped taking itself seriously. And season one is just classic.

I only watched the first 2 seasons. After that I more or less stopped watching TV. (Not because of the show :oldrazz: )

I never saw a whole episode of the oc i fliped past it from time to time. The only thing i ever saw brody in was a season 1 episode of smallville which is one of my favs from that season. I also think he will do fine as wally if he does end up as him. He is a DC geek i hear so he should do the character fine.

Wow, just wow!

Even Dragon Ball fans are luckier than us!

Whenever is the time will we get anything confirmed?

The latest rumor is that we will hear something in January as Robinov (I think that's the right one??) or whoever moves into their new position.

Where does that Dean Cain quote come from in your sig?

Only 55 days left til the camera rolls! And the biggest clue this week is Adam is down under with reddish hair. Well I'll take that as a lock he got cast as Wally. So who else is down under pool side today....I wonder? Anyone spot Welling ordering take out pizza again or Routh at Applebee this week?

But who stated this rumor I wonder? Could the Robinov rumor be fake too? Grrrrr!

robinov is not a rumor he is being promoted to president on the first of jan.

I don't believe it was any site, but just a general consensus among people on various boards. Seems like a plausible enough scenario.

And no like has been said the Robinov thing is not a rumor...just the association of a JL announcement along with it.

It was on video in an interview at I believe KTLA, or the local LA Fox affiliate.

The WB maybe somewhat..............nevermind. I was going to say they may be embarrassed with the cast but then again, why would they hire them or whatever. This is my thinking: if they announce the cast and the word of mouth is really bad they may be expecting a backlash like Catwoman when the plot was announced. If you go on different websites, the consensus is that people are excited about the movie but also that they are not having a good feeling about the cast or plot. If it gets out to soon about either in the wrong way, then this movie is doomed. Not only fanboys have been displeased about it but other actors, directors and even some cast members maybe(Brody backing out and coming back in maybe) but who knows. :o

The movie's plot has been getting great reviews which between that and the name of George Miller is probably the only reason this is probably going forward still.

Ledger wasn't welcomed when announced but now he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Casting the big six(2 flashes) means the likely hood of getting eveyone right (or a good general consensus among fans) is a huge order that isn't going to be disproven until fans see them in costume or actual footage so the WB should have a tougher skin about this and just announce the cast.

Fan opinon is fickle as hell anyway.:woot:

I'm not sure it has been getting "great" reviews. I would say very mixed which is why the cast would sway it to be a blockbuster or a dud(which I doubt).

Unfortunately, it won't matter to WB a damn thing how bad word of mouth can get for this movie. If they really want to make this movie, it will get done. They won't be swayed by a handful of "nerds" on teh internetz. Just look at the JJ Abrams Superman project. That script was bashed to hell on the internet and WB was still moving full steam ahead on the project. The only thing that stopped it was a pu$$y director who refused to get on a plane and fly overseas. :o
