He thinks it makes him look cool I guess. It's just something stupid you have to deal with. Like batman deciding to avenge his parents murder and protect the citizens of Gotham, then deciding to take on an acrobatic (flexible) young man, dress him in brightly colored tights then send him out into waves of murders, rapists and child molestors. Some things just don't make sense but you've got to say whatever or you'll never be able to take in anything beyond it.

the fact remains that such a skilled fighter manages to get a sharp implement shoved down his throat and knocked out cold within 30 seconds of each other.

regardless of whether someone is trying or not, that's a poor show and it both reflect on his durability and his ability to underestimate his opponent and get caught off guard.

Read the damn comic! he is trying to help Marrow up after beating her with ease he holds out his hand thinking she has reformed, remember she has just joined the team from the reclusive morlocks Wolvie thinks she has turned a corner and he gets surprised. after the bone through the throat he goes besrker on marrows ass just as he is about to cut her a new hole Cannonball in (supersonic blast mode) grabs wolvie from BEHIND he knows once wolvie is in beserk mode its the only way to stop him.

Ill consced that it first looked to me like the stomach my bad but please admit Marrow doesnt really beat wolvie you know damn well she is owned by a benevolent logan who is trying to get through to her that the xmen want her as a trusted team member.

I like the Freeze Gun idea. Especially if bats knew that he was "unstoppable" because of his regeneration. I could defiantly see bats using the Freeze Gun.

Yeah but that takes into account the infamous "prep" time. I think bats would avoid close quarters once he saw wolverine pop his claws. The question is can bats figure out how to ko the furball before he gets close enough and guts him?

Any potential win for Batman is probably going to require some foreknowledge. The only way he'd stop Wolverine at long range is with explosive batarangs, but he'd never use those unless he were certain they wouldn't kill Wolverine, and he'd have to test out how much Wolverine could take by using everything short of the explosives on him first, which just gives Wolverine time to move to close quarters. Although Batman is far more maneuverable than Wolverine thanks to his grappling hooks and stuff.

I understand some of you hating on Wolvie This is a DC board after and i know you all love batman your most populer character (and the only interesting DC character imo) but wolverine is just more powerful in all areas then Batman and would beat him in a straight out instant encounter.
