What you think about him?

He would be very good choice for both Harvey Dent and Two-Face.

yeah and his sister for Harley quinn?
please.
HELL NO! :down

hes to quirky.

John Cusack ten years ago would've been a good choice. He's too old now to mesh with the current cast.

He is 40 years old now, while Liev Schreiber is 39, there is almost no difference.

Cusack has a very youthful presence on screen still. And why does his age have to "mesh" with anyone else's? He's a grown man, but looks about the right age to be a YOUNG D.A. in his prime.

He's not very menacing. As far as looking the part maybe but the inspiration of fear just doesnt seem like him.

I'd be open to it - he's got the look for the part, but whether he can actually pull it off is another question.

20 years ago, Cusack would have been a great Peter Parker.

But Harvey Dent?

That I am not so sure about. I like Cusack's work, but I seriously have a hard time seeing him as becoming Two-Face in the Dark Knight sequel. Certainly not the most horrible choice I've heard so far, but certainly not the best either.

This would be the biggest mistake for TDK:(

if true i have faith in nolan but...

He's not my first choice for Dent but i give him    cause he's never been in a movie that i didnt like.

Bale, Ledger, Cusack. Sounds like a winnah to me!

Oh give me a break...everyone needs to understand that out of all the canidates we have talked about 2 or three probably met with nolan and the producers and probably another handful that we haven't mention...Nolan had gone through each one taking a look at his qualities and deciding if he is right for the part they have written...If they choose Cusak it's fine by me, because NOLAN has scene the actors and their interpretations in person..WE have not

I've always liked Cusack, his 80s movies are great (Say Anything, Better Off Dead, etc.). I have to say that I have not seen him in a villian role before or a role that has had him unhinged. But he has done more then comedic stuff. Identity was a great movie and he was great in it. I would like to see what he could do if even the chance to play a more complex role.

I am up for it, if he is cast and all this talk is true. Pierce is my first choice though and always will be.

Good point... we have to trust Nolan, this is his film.

Uh, he's an awesome choice.

Whether it's true is doubtful though.

Cusak is one of my all time favorites, and this would be interesting to see as much as Ledger as the Joker, but I don't think he ever play a real "bad" guy before so that leaves me a little hesitant if he is chosen.

He's play a lot of guys you could root for but a truly bad guy, or in Harvey's case a tragic character....I don't know.

What was the point of making a thread for this? Is there not an official Dent casting thread that's a sticky? And isn't there a whole thread about him supposedly being cast???

I don't get it.

Not a head scratcher.... but w/e... forget the sexy pic... Cusack is a solid and safe pick... and he won't be Jackman money... I don't need a sexy pic like Pheonix or Phillipe... just someone solid... I won't be holding my breath on this one

The thing most of you need to keep in mind is that Two Face is not a cut and dried villain. He's torn between good and evil. The very fact that it's hard to picture Cusack as a villain makes him a viable Harvey Dent. One half scarred and evil, the other ... well, you get the point.

Now I'm not saying that I'm all for Cusack getting the role. I'm saying that, unlike Singer, Nolan has proven himself and I trust his judgement. If it's Cusack, then I'm fine with it. If Nolan picks someone else .. I'm fine with that, too.

I don't want Harvey looking into the camera talking about how he has bad luck with women.
No thanks.

^ well if we are going to use that way of thinking...I don't want ledger as the Joker because all he'll try to do is joust or kiss batman...
