he was not immediately team leader. he was his own separate team for a while, then he was co-team leader, then he became full on team leader some time after acquiring ninja powers (at which point the red ranger actually became cooler, because the falcon zord was lame as ****)

nah, it's soo much better with the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia than it could ever actually be. i might re-watch the movie though for that sweet sweet hair metal soundtrack
