Their marketing campaign is great though:

'You either love it or you hate it.'

Never tried it but I imagine it to taste like a weird hybrid of shrimp paste and anchovies.

I'm I close?

Actually, I don't know who is known for their good taste in food.

Italians maybe?

Yeah, I' say Italians.

But I love the food in Jersey. Only place in the world (other than places right on the outskirts, like NYC,) to get a taylor ham sandwich. Yum.

Living in California we have diaspora of food choices.

My favorites are definitely Japanese, Thai, Indian, Italian, Jewish delicatessens, Mexican, and every now and then your "traditional American" like steak, mashed potatoes, burgers, fries what have you.

British food isn't that bad, just depends where you get it from.

I mean, all the British chefs come over to the US to tell you how to cook your food. :p

What were you researching?

How to become immortal?

Being immortal would be great, everytime someone you hated died, you could have yourself a wee party, I'd hang out in the background of their funerals with a wee bottle of vodka, and have a laugh to myself. :oldrazz:

Pfft. We have the actual immigrants of the respective choices I just wrote to cook us these meals. They're incredibly delicious. ;)

Made me hungry too. Now I'm going to go warm up a Lean Pocket (food fail :( ).

We have all of that on the east coast as well. But from what I hear, the Italian food out west, especially pizza, and the Jewish Delis/bagel places are no where near as good. Now I can't say for certain because I've never left the east coast, but I've had quite a few friends move west and they all say the same thing. Plus, there's no taylor ham. :o
