Bruce Spence is too old, Jude Law sucks for Joker, and Hulme and Roth I wouldn't mind but I am more with Hulme he has got the perfect Joker face.

i kinda think Spence is too old also...he has to be in his 50's at least? say what you will about Law, but he is a good actor. so is Roth.....chances are it will probably come down to Hulme, Roth and Law.....i wouldn't be surprised. No Buscemi though, he is wrong for Joker.....now Buscemi in a cameo in the beginning of the sequel as ZsasZ i can definately see! yeah!

Bruce Spence is 60 years old right now, Jude Law should NEVER be Joker. Hate to inform you on this but Joker doesn't have an annoying British accent. And Buscemi isn't Zsasz its that Tim Booth guy who is playing him already in Begins.

Hey ok guys, i have a feeling not alot of ppl are going to like this design but this is the idea:

- his hair I LIKE CRAZY so it looks similar to comic designs

- Collar = the collar of his trenchcoat, and it comes up to cover slightly cover his face, makes it creepy (once again this was taken form the GRAYSON TRAILER JOKER)

- once upon a time, sum1 suggested blistered red lips from the acid. that is the approack i took, but just not TOO blistered, i want him to look gross, almost infected so i gave him vains on his lips and around his face (they would be small and subtle in the movie, but this is MSPAINT, so they REALLY STAND OUT) but it gives a gross blister feeling

- the eyes are dark and hollow, bloodshot, with small puple

He just has the sort of wierd creepiness to him, that he could pull it off. I think we all need to stop comparing everybody to Jack Nicholson, who in my view did a great job as well, but most of us have stopped comparing Keaton to Bale, so now it's time to stop comparing every canidate to Jack Nicholson

Crispin Glover certainly has the physical build too him. Just look at his jaw looks exactly like Joker's jaw from TAS.

ORIGIN:
For lack of a better name, "Jack Napier" is having a one man comedy act. Bruce Wayne is in attendace. He fails miserably. After the show, Bruce offers him some money, which he rudely refuses. Later, he joins a group (not the mob) to provide for his pregnant wife and they rob a place called Monarch Playing Cards. Bats shows up and defeats (not kills) everyone there, except for "Napier". A chase scene involving the batmobile and a motorcycle ends a AXIS CHEMICALS. They fight up on a balcony, Bats not fighting to the extent, knowing this man, and Bats trips "Napier"(accidently) and catches him, ala '89. Instead of being captured by the authorities and being an embarassment to his family, he lets go of Bats' hand and falls into a vat of acid. Batman looks down for a brief moment, and walks away. Right after that, a sickly whit hand pops out. AOut last shot is of stressed out red eyes...

LOOK:

A suit that is bleached purple when "Jack" falls in. A sickly bright yellow flower
that squirts acid. Of course, the bleached white skin, the red lips. Make the green hair a dark green, almost black, but clearly green. His eyes, make them look like he has red eye, wit red pupils. And have him smile not all of the time, just most of it, and have him frown when he is surprised, or even scared.

sorry i didnt mean to sound rude, and no u dont sound rude its all good, i was just saying. becuz it involves (axis chemicals), and Jack(though that isnt his name) falling, grabbing him, then falling becuz of not holding on, then his hand coming out of the chemicals. its just really similar to B89 in that sense thats all

i just thought Axis Chemicals is too much part of the Jokers grand Mythos. in alot of origins it involves that. and i had bats catch him cause if he didn't try, that could be considered murder.

the purple is just the right shade IMO and they would just improve the face makeup a bit.The physcotic nature of the character in the trailer is definately something i'd like to see in the new Joker.

I don't want the Joker's origin to be tied to Batman and would rather his origin not be explained at all. A lack of an origin adds to his creepiness and make him more mysterious. Even though the Killing Joke gives a flashback of his origins, it is told from his point of view and Joker admits that it may not be correct because he various recollections of his life before Joker.
