Depp could be good as the Joker....but the rumor of his choliphobia worries me(you must become what you fear.....). You know, Tim Burton is also rumored to have a fear of clowns.

That may be why Sam Rockwell's name came up. In a million years, I never would have thought of him. Yet in movies like The Green Mile and Charlie's Angels he's shown charmisma and insanity quite effectively.

If they decided on Rockwell, I wouldn't be disappointed.

chin, nose and facial make up I never touched - Thats all his baby
just added eyes, highlights, green hair and eyebrows - sawed off his tophat into a fedora

And lastly Rhys Ifans as Mr. J
Okay I shouldnt have given him a Purple hoody - but its something different and Ifans is a superb actor and can play a broad range from darkly comic to humourously serious -
check out his performances in Little Nicky, 51st State and Love, Honor and Obey - to see what he could bring to the table

Oh Yeah almost forgot Mad Steve Buscemi as the Clown Prince Of Crime, this was a grab from Escape to LA - his character "Map-to-the-Stars" Eddy and i manipulated it a bit with the clothing eyes and lips -

but the skin and his eyes are his - I never touched them.

Buscemi brings the right amount of Psycho killer to the role "weyland Green" from CON AIR
And has a very manic persona and superb comic timing

Damn, this dude looks scary! I think the Joker should look and be scary. I always thought there was something about clowns that are disturbing. I think Nolan should discover exactly what that something is and increase it by 5.

Comics2film (not the most reliable) says that Crispen Glover has been looked at by Goyer and Nolan to play the Joker in the upcoming sequal. However Hume name is still floating around

Also Liev Schieber has also been contacted to play Two-Face (Dent in sequal)

Take this info with a grain of salt, anyone can get a website and print this stuff...but if true, I think it is good news none the less

Hmmm Interesting I think Glover would be perfect for the Joker. Although I always say him more of a Mad Hatter. As for Liev that's a interesting idea as well.
