Lachy Hulme rules. I could never take Crispin Glover serious as the Joker. He may look the part, but his voice and acting ability does not fit the Joker's. Besides, He will have bif shoes to fill. Lachy, on the other hand, looks like a tough villain--even without make up.

It's not Comics2Film to report the Glover as Joker rumor.
It's Batman-on-film that reports a scoop from an anonymous source.

Jett, I've got another name for you that may be in the mix for The Joker - Crispin Glover. Now here's the thing, I don't know where this is coming from. It could be coming from Glover's "people" to get his name out there, or it could be coming from Warners. I know that Glover is sort of a "fan-favorite," so maybe they [Warner Bros. - Jett] is taking that into account. Hell, they cast Christian Bale, didn't they? Thought you would want to know

In the end, it's probably BS.

A coloured version of Dorky fresh's Joker Manip with a different mouth and highlighting

And here's another version with a hat and yellowing eyes and skin

I'll be doing my own versions shortly from screen grabs from reservoir dogs and Pulp Fiction

What is the point of a manip if you're going to alter the subject's facial features to such extremes that they in no way resemble the subject anymore, or any living human for that matter?



By that logic, you could take a picture of a 90 year old obese black woman and change the nose, the skin colour, the eyes, the hair, mouth, chin, clothes, general build, age and sex in photoshop and say "LOOK AT THIS! SHE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE JOKER!!!!!!!!!!!!1 NOLAN MUST CAST HER!!!"



The extent to which they will change the actor's look for the Joker is haircolour, make-up and possibly some mild prosthetics. They're not gonna transplant someone elses mouth or bone structure on him, you know.

not just mine - but also dorkyfreshs original -

All I did was colour it and add a few effects lighting - the mouth is actually from a real picture of Conrad Vedts' "MAn Who Laughs" - but was too big for Roths face - So I scaled it down to his features
If you go back over my posts and look at most of my manips so far - most have been "Realistic" using real images or paintings from real images of the actors
faces/bodies

And there are worse offenders than me - But I respect their work cos they are having FUN

And life's for having fun

Stop being so anal

and look at these more Realistic ones of steve Buscemi and Marilyn Manson

BOTH of which have used NO or little alteration of the face
