Robert Englund for Joker! :joker:

ten years ago maybe, I suggested the other day that he should have played him as opposed to nicholson, because i caught him in the phantom of the opera, and now I think he would have made a better joker, but now I think he is too old.

You know there more I think about it, the more I could see him as the Joker.

Yeah I know he's 5'9" and he's Sean Penn, but....if Nolan is truly interested in him (as was rumored) then who am I to say...

I've been thinking a lot about Sean Penn playing The Joker...at first I thought it was an OK choice. Only an OK choice in my mind because of his age. After lots of consideration of Penn, it poped into my head...he would suck as Joker. Why would he suck? Well, it is very simple...Sean Penn is an *******. Sure, he is a good actor and I am baseing his ******* label because of his real life, not his movie career BUT, he is such an *******, I cannot over look it. I then pictured him in Joker attire, going around Gotham and causing havoc and then going to fight the Bat, and I thought, 'Ah man, Sean Penn sucks real bad, I can’t see him doing this at all.' Bottom line, Sean Penn should not play The Joker because, he is old and is a REALLY gigantic *****e bag.

Mark Hamil...seeing Mark Hamil as The Joker in the sequel would be incredibly entertaining and so badass. Sure, he's older than Penn, who I talked about above, but Hamil has that Joker voice that nobody can beat. It would be cool, but I don't see this happening.

Adrian Brody...**** Adrian Brody.

Jason Lee, Benicio Del Toro, Tim Roth...these three all fall under the same category, in my mind. These are the guys who could look it, speak it, and do it really good but just have a certain unknown thing that makes me think they would have some problem. I could be wrong with that; anyone of them could be excellent in the role and would make me happy.

My two top choices to play The Joker are, Jude Law and Crispin Glover. They fall into two different categories. Glover is the creepy guy whose smile freaks you out a bit; he is the guy who looks like Nicholson. His voice is somewhat lame and weak to play The Joker, but he is an actor for christ’s sake, he can work on it. Law is the animated tv show like Joker. People would like to see him in as The Riddler and would fit very nicely in the role, but I don't think people show pass up on Law being The Joker. :joker:

wow this guy really got it right. the only thing i would change is add alan cumming to the last catagorie

I hate to be one of those obnoxious asses that keeps posting his same manip over and over, but sheesh! I didn't even get one comment of "Yeah, He would be great " or a "Hell no" He sucks, so I'm going to try it again.

Edward Norton

6'1 :joker:

Thin :joker:

Not too old or young :joker:

Great actor :joker:

I think he would be brilliant. :joker:

good idea i guess but really REALLY bad manip.

i use to be the main supporter of alan cumming as the joker on these boards, but then i watched road to perditon and saw jude law's performance in it. wow. anyone who thinks he cant do the joker go see that movie, hes perfect, his madness in that movie is just incredibly well controlled, so imagine what it could be if he was allowed to show how crazy he can be...perfect, hes the perfect guy to replace jack nicholson as the joker. jude

That's the absolute first time I've heard anyone call it a bad manip. I would like to hear why you think that. Thank you in advance.

I don't know if anyone has seen this, but over on the FanArt boards someone did a drawing of a pretty cool looking Joker that I think would be creepy as hell if it was translated onto the big screen.

The artist's screen-name is antmanx68....this is not mine.....I repeat this drawing is not mine but that of antmanx68

needs color, but to me it just looks like some old guy. and i think its a bad manip because you can see where his ctual skin is and then where u put the jokers skin over it, it just doesnt look very professional but just keep workin on them and u will get the hang of it

It's not a manip.....just a drawing someone did over on the Fan Art boards. I think it's creepy as hell and would fit in really well with Nolan's Batman.

That's red around his eyes ala "Arkham Asylum".

I really think Timothy Olyphant would be an awesome Joker. Another cool choice would be Barry Pepper.

I am going to laugh so hard when the WB/Nolan picks an actor that's not even on this thread!
