I hope to here more of Bettany's intrest in the role,so far the top ones at this moment are Brody,Rockwell,and Depp.

My top four choices for role of Joker:

1.Adrien Brody
2.Paul Bettany
3.Johnny Depp
4.Lachy Hulme (even tho I haven't seen him acting bit weird eh?)

Just cuz he's a good actor doesn't mean he can play any part. I agree, I have nothing wrong with Brody (or Depp for that matter), I just dont particularly care to see them as the Joker. Brody has the look, but nothing about him suggests to me he could play evil, sadistic, and twisted. There are far better candidates to choose from and i'd much rather see them.

Paul Bettany is my first choice. I mean, just look at the guy! Look at those manips, it almost looks as if he's playing The Joker right there.

Those manips are indeed incredible,they are the best ones Ive seen of a recent actor who is rumored for the role and looks the part.

Bettany and Brody are my top two but since Depp could be considered I might switch to Bettany and Depp.

Since I think Depp's name has been rumored I choose Depp.

Joker has to be someone I can believe would rise to be a crime boss, all while being sadistic, melancholy, and darkly humorous, otherwise eh'll be over-thetop, like Jim Carrey.
That's tough. Benicio seems OK, as does Crispen Glover. Willem DaFoe is probably my pick.
