It's kinda funny, but you know who would've made a great Joker?

Christina Bale.
But I'll take him as Batman any day.

You take away the funny nutty side...you take away part of the Joker.

I mean that super corny kiddie Joker.

I'm talking Arkham Asylum Physcho JOKA BAY BAY!

Joker from BTAS is great I mean he just seemed campy because he couldn't really kill anyone or do anything that horrible on the show

I couldn't stand The Joker in TAS, I hated him. He wasn't a physchopathic killer he was more like a Clown from a Children's party with a butt load of bad jokes in a yellow bag. But he was much better in MOTP. But don't get me wrong, I loved Freeze and Two Face from TAS.

rob zombie, cut the hair, white out the face, put on a purple suit, and you got jim lees joker

what about... Drop Dead Fred.... Rik Mayal.......??????????????????????????

Not to sound harsh, but how in the green hell do you see Rob Zombie in Jim Lee's Joker??? Look at him!

That looks as much like Rob Zombie as I look like a hot dog cart.

I watched Peter Sarrsgarrd on SNL last night, he has gained some weight. They did a little bit for his monolouge where they talk about how creepy he is. His are in fact creepy thats for sure. Only problem was that he couldn't keep all his lines straight. Though most who host SNL can't anyway lol. Anyway, his voice seems a little feminine or not quite manly like Joker's so thats good but he is a little tubby and doesn't quite look like Joker. After all he is EW!'s pick for the role not mine. Just thought I would mention it.

Now this is how Joker should look like, have the psychotic look and that sadistic laugh.I have this picture in my own copy of Hush.

Thats how Joker should resemble.

I hated the art of Joker from that Hush run, he looked like a long nosed freak. Thats not the best interpretation. You should see him right before he found out the cops name who killed his wife, right before he dissapeared naked. The art was pretty damn good. Now that he is back it is a little odd but still good, much better than the twisted bird of the Hush arc. Check out the cover of the most recent Batman comic where he is holding an axe over Hush, damn great artwork.

compi716, thats what I said before he was cast as Batman, it's the reason I joined SHH! in the first place. You wouldn't believe the negative crap I took for it but I stayed with him as my pick. He would have been great.

I like that

Yeah,if someone is to be cast as Joker it should be someone who can keep up with that picture.Lachy Hulme is who that pic reminds me of,the long slender nose and that look that for sure would give you nightmares.Thats what I like about it.

I, personally, hope that the Joker looks a little more human.

A great actor can do the manic look (twitchy eyes, facial contortions/tics, etc.) and the crazy laugh. We really don't need prosthetics for the con and nose. I think a person that looks human with the Joker's color scheme and grin could be equally effective. Hell, look at Nicholson in 89! The guy had a very round face, but his look was great. Jim Lee's joker looks a little too cartoony for live action.

See there are few people, who like you want the same thing. With Hulme he could do just that,he already has the facial expressions again the nose and Im sure the acting to do the part justice. We wouldnt need to much assortments added to his face cause he already has them.

Though I dont feel the same way,Im just speaking for people who I know, who want what you want to see.

Joker has been said in hot rumors that he'll be very dark and creepy in the sequel and,and thats the route Im going with aswell.

While all that is great and all I have to disagree. Only because The Joker himself in the comics has infact had some kind of facial work done. For any of you who know what I'm talking about and want to double check or for those of you who don't, go pick up "The Killing Joke" and if you look at what would be page # 10 and you can see that from one panal to the next his face is slightly, SLIGHTLY, different. His cheeks are bonier and his chin is slightly longer. So with that said you kind of have to give some facial prothestics to get the real effect of The Joker. His face was odd before hand, but it got more odd after.

I really dont think they should apply any prosthetics at all, especially if they go with someone like Hulme, who has an already Joker-like face. I hated that big hunk of plastic on Nicholson's face, and I dont want to see any more prosthetics this time, whether it's a fake smile, or a longer nose or chin. I want this character to look like someone who's had his skin bleached and his hair dyed green, that's it, so I dont see why he'd have some outrageously contorted face.

exactly.. unless they're subtle.. like del toro's prosthetics in Sin City.

I do like the idea of Joker still having the chemical burns around his eyes, Meatbag. I would also like that Joker's face has more of a badly burn on his face. Seeing as Joker fell into an acid, he should have more of a real burn look beside bleached white skins & green hair. I felt Nichlson's makeup was too much of a clown makeup & not a victim of acid bath. He should have burn skins. I hope they add that with BB2.
