Joker Costume for Halloween

Hey, your dad's right though, the audio is one thing that drive me nuts, but I don't let it get to me!

At one point in time someone had made their own absolutly wonderfull suspenders using flexible iron-ons, but wouldn't offer up the file. So considering the price of some cheap suspenders, and the cost of flexible iron-on paper, and how awsome they looked, they could look realy decent for realy cheap.

*starts the music and gets on stage* LOL.

One other thing....I'm going NUTS looking at this *frakkin'* thing! :

....Frakkin' duffle bag. If it isn't the size, its the zippers. If its not the zippers its the straps.

I think its a knife on the end of that chain....

I'm certain that either here or at another forum it was revealed that it's a knife on a chain. I think you can see it in that bit where they're laying the knives out on the desk.

But those braces look awesome.

What a bunch of 'tards. Fed-Ex has a habit of overshooting me when I have packages sent to my house as well. Half the time they end up at Sortation Center 35 miles from me and it just sits there for days. Makes me want to beat them senseless some days. Speaking of which, they've had a package of mine sitting around for three days now that I really wish they would send. Growls...

Thanks for the comments on my picture guys! I would have responded sooner, but I've been a bit under the weather for the past few days. Gotta love the colds that come with Ohio's crappy winter.

Anywho, I found out that a Best Buy in my area was doing a midnight release, but I didn't get to go... but... a friend of mine who works for Best Buy managed to acquire one of the miniature Joker statues that came with the DVD purchase, so for that I am really happy. I got my copy of the DVD yesterday, along with the Movie Masters Bat-Pod ( which is awesome as all get go ) and even though I would have loved to go out in make-up yesterday, I only put on my coat to save from scaring the whits out of the Holiday shoppers.

Oh, and while I'm on the subjust of Holidays... I took some 'special' Joker photos that ended up being turned into my Christmas cards. I thought some of you guys might get a kick out of them. Pics under the spoiler for those who are curious...

It'd be ok if they sent it to Earth City, then it could start its long journey to me, but to be sent back to OH, and then back again to MO is crazy. And is a horrible buisness idea to, LOL.

Mabey you should drive there and demand your parcel...When stuff I want sets at a place it drive me crazy as well...

Also got a reply about my Glock's ETA
"yes, from my understanding we have had it on back order for about half a year already. Did you want something else in place of that? I can give you a free upgrade more or less around the same value. Please advise me on your order"

Soo...Anyone wanna translate this for me? Do I get something for equal value? Or do I get upgraded to something more or less the same value? And now I don't know what I want...I wanted that frakkin' Glock!

That would have been awesome! Although, I've already sent you one menacing letter, but sending more would have been a hoot! That shirt looks interesting. Is it the same pattern material or similar?

The reason is, a movie costuming club I've just gotten involved with are putting a DK bank robber gang together for formal events and appearances. Quality standards are extremely high so I'd be interested in finding out more!

If you go to Goodwills,etc. you can find some preety cool shirts for the Bank Heist Joker. I found mine there for a couple bucks. :

I never have dyed it yet though...I'm afraid I'd ruin it, LOL.

EDIT - But thats one cheap costume, LOL.

The shirt was $3.
The entire suit was on sale for $4 (regular $8, LOL)
Got the gloves from Keli.
Like $15 or so for the mask (but I'll use make-up anyway)
And then $20 for the bag (Which I'm ordering in just a second)

Just need to get shoes, and I'll use those for evryday shoes. If I can find some that fit, LOL.

Hi Jodo.

We have the mask (which scared the bejasus out of me when I first saw it) and we're off to the charity shops (thrift shops I think you call them over there) over Xmas to try and get a grey suit and shirt. If we can't get a decent shirt we're gonna actually try and source the material and see if we can get the costuming group's seamstress to make one up. That'll be pricey But the quality standards are extremely high so we have to get it right.

Otherwise we can get pretty similar shoes and the bag fairly cheaply from our local markets. Being from the UK and the ridiculous gun paranoia over here the Glock 18 is proving to be a bit of a problem although I'm onto that as I type. The only other thing is a wig.

I'm just miserable there wasn't a 4'10" female bank robber in the gang! Maybe I can convince the guys to let me be a bank teller so they can rough me up and throw me about a bit t:

I'd LOVE to have some screen accurate Bank Heist fabric, but ya, the cheapest the TDH hexagon shirt fabric came out to be was $26 a yard, and that was for hundreds of yards, so having a sceen accurate shirt will deffintly cost you.

As for the the Glock, I've had a Glock 17 on order for a couple months, and was just told it has been on backorder for half a year, so finding one is preety hard in general, let alone for you UK'ers. (or UK'ours. LOL )

I imagine the Joker had to have some sort of use for 4 '10 females!

EDIT : DaCrissaMan02 just screencaped the contense of the duffle! The HT Joker figure's bag, as I had assumed, was wrong. The only bad thing about this, is the fact that the contense went from being feasible in my budget, to preety high. I'd hafe to buy it parts at a time....
