The Dark Knight Joker crashing party, Bats goes after Rachel

In addition to the poor follow through on not returning to the penthouse, I'll also criticize the follow through on not having a brief scene of Harvey confronting Bruce about putting him in a headlock and stuffing him in a closet. I would have had a scene of Harvey pushing Bruce up against a wall giving him hell for what he did, I would think that Harvey would be pissed off knowing that Bruce's actions nearly got his woman killed and he wasn't there to protect her and feel as though there should have been a scene to address that. Also a confrontational scene would have further shown how the Two-Face strike back mentallity is coming to the forefront.

As it is we don't even know if Harvey even knows what happened to him that night, did Rachel ever tell him Bruce headlocked him?,..did Bruce tell him?, or does he just think he blacked out on his own?

I was about to tell you; he never knew.

For all Dent knows it was probably a Joker henchman who hit him and then Batman saved him.

The thing is he wasnt shown or hinted to be impacted in some way after the fall. He was perfectly fine the next day and the fall was never referenced. He had been more beatup and hurt, like in BB when he was knocked down and hit by a falling brick yet he still went to face the villains. I dont think he would resign the pursuit because he felt the hit, especially since all he could do was use the grapple gun to get back there. Again, Joker and the rest had no way out and were very high up, it would take them time to get out. By the time they would reach the floor cops would surround the building. Batman could catch them either still in the room, on the stairs, in the elevator or by the entrance

Well, he could talk. That doesn't mean he was perfectly nice and fine.

Now I don't remember Batman being hit by a falling brick, but then again I couldn't see much of Batman with all that creappy editing and shaky shots.

All I can say is that falling from a building sounds a bit worse than anything I could see in BB. Except for Scarecrow setting him on fire.

Joker crashing party, Bats goes after Rachel but he leaves the rest of the party in the hands of the Joker. What disturbes me the most is that the Joker just seems to leave the building without harming anyone.

And why doesn't Batman go after him, after he saves Rachel...

It annoyes me to hell and back...so out of character for both The Joker and Batman.

Agreed. one of the many small flaws i noticed to an overall well put together film. VERY poorly put together scene from the moment batman showed up. It seems any time batman showed up in the movie he was out of place to me in most cases. smh. i love the film, but as a batman film he was out of character one too many times.

First of all, he would have knocked out the lights in the parking garage and been a lot more stealthy and scary about his approach, second at the dent party he would have tuned off the lights came out and beaten the jokers men up with ease as he struggled in the movie too much for my taste with petty thugs and also it would have avoided the entire ordeal. batman is waaaaay too smart for that scenario. he should have landed and shot his grappling gun back up and left Rachel there instead of cracking jokes and then upon getting to the top again the joker and his men make off in the chopper wayne arrived at the party in. How did batman escape that moment as it was in the middle of the street right on some car, and how did Joker get out of the building and where to if Batman knew he was still up there. Did he just say goodbye Rachel and went home? Very annoying incomplete scene. I feel batman Begins was a better Batman portrayal than TDK as there were a lot of out of character moments.

Harvey didnt see Bruce so after hearing the jokers men were present the previous night or when he came to, he probably figured it was one of them. thats wasnt a big hole to me. the issue is what comes after. WHy did batman fight right infront of everyone in the light? He would have bataranged the lights which i didnt see ONE incling of in the movie smh wtf is the point of introducing techniques for him to use and only keep the grappling gun and cape aspect from everything else he learned to use. ninja gas pellets, batarangs, and the anti heat detector aspect of his suit?

smh...these are some of the major annoyances. The movie was great as a film, but when it became fantastical it was all over the place with incomplete scenes
