Joker 'JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX' (Phillips and Phoenix return for the sequel) General News & Discussion Thread

I crapped on this film back on page 2, and was never going to see it; but there was a dark corner of my mind that thought maybe, just maybe Todd would prove me wrong and pull off something special. Couple of weeks out now, and I am amazed by just how terribly this has all gone.

Why are the Snyder Bros blaming Gunn for Joker 2s failure but not giving credit him for the Penguin series success?

Especially when he apparently had more involvement creatively with Penguin, because Philips had %100 creative control as part of his contract.

It's not for me, but I didn't care for the first one as a joker origin film.
That was not the joker I know, but as a film about a man's fall into madness it was fine. But just don't call it joker.

This joker couldn't go toe to toe with Adam west's Batman.
They could have went a hundred different ways in the sequel and had a hit, but they chose...........this?

Better late than never. I didn't see this performance before the fallout.

Gosh remember when there was an outside chance that would be the global opening weekend?
