this is clay added to the original Ledger I did, then painted. Please critique. I would then cast this, pull another copy and do more real skin tones, add joker makeup and hair then done.

If you sculpted that yourself....it's a damn fine job. Very real looking.

That looks incredible. First rate job

I gotta get me one of those.

Wow, on your website I see you do sculpts, costumes, and props! Really incredible stuff. Do you work in hollywood?

here's an update I did. better eye makeup, better lighting.

Is it possible to open up the eyes a bit more?

thats freaking awesome!!!! it looks soo real like youll one day get an excellent job making these for movie props and masks :D

the squint was intentional. ala the first few frames of the interogation scene. or the first frame of "you remind me of my father". Reason for this is that I wanted to try to do at least a little something that has not been done so many times. as there are tons of ledger/joker sculpts out there.

No, I don't work in Hollywood per se', but have done a couple of films, and some t.v.

Well, if you're going to go for such a specific expression like that, it should be included with the rest of the torso so it looks like he's more in 'action' or in mid-sentence...arms arched or what have you. Otherwise, if it's just a head or bust, then it's a bit too specific. Maybe open up one eye and raise that side of the brow so it looks like more of an evil, offset smirk.

No offense man, but get real. This sculpt is incredible, and the fact that it has a different kind of expression than what we normally see from Joker is part of the appeal.

I know you asked for critique youngbat, but don't listen to KalMart, that thing looks incredible.
