The Dark Knight Joker's costume?

How about he is the clown at a kids party(dressed like a clown),but he is actually there to kill the father of the birthday boy who is like a congressman or the mayor of Gotham who is heavily guarded.
The Joker actually did this in the episode "Be a Clown" of Batman TAS, so I wouldn't expect that exact scenario, but something along the same vein could be possible, meaning dressing up like a clown where he wouldn't seem out of place in order to commit some atrocity.

I liked when the Joker dressed as a mime in B89. Maybe this time he should dress as a traffic cop.

What should the Joker dress as in TDK?

I bet we'll see Joker in a few costumes. Mostly I'm thinking he's going to have a sort of Tyler Durden (fight club) thing going on. He'll probably have some scavenged clothes that are very ragged and/or old looking and a bit tattered and I doubt any of the colors will be bright... but I'm sure they'll be in the Joker's spectrum.

I don't care what anyone says - this is the DEFINITIVE Joker...

What should he look like? His facial features should match those in the picture above. Dark, green hair which kinda takes the shape of a devils horns, a deadly smile... that picture represents the definitive Joker.

That's a really great idea! With kids present, the results could play out to be extremely disturbing. Plus, it just makes him seem like more of a monster. And on the way out, he could give the man's a kid a baloon poodle and pat her/him on the head.

Mmmm... creepy! :joker:

I don't understand how anyone but kids can like the visuals on B:TAS, It's very simple and too colorful.

For the definitive Joker look no further then the graphic novel "Batman: The Man Who Laughs".

Even though I don't like it I have a feeling The Joker won't look very much like Joker at all. But a way more down to earth realistic Joker, like Scarecrow.

Maybe him in a suit with a slightly pale face and slightly green mostly black hair.

I hope i'm wrong and he is still very clearly The Joker when you see him. I understand and agree with not making him cartoony.

I don't like BTAS visuals it at all.

IMO The BTAS visuals are the best things to happen to the visuals of the Batman characters.

I think the actual style is pretty cool, myself. I prefer the style when it's used for adult stories (see the Two Face story in BATMAN: BLACK-AND-WHITE VOL. 1). As far as color goes, I never found it remarkably colorful; it always strikes me as fairly dark.

The producers of the show were once warned that they were reaching the legal limit of how dark a show can be, true story.

its true, theres nothing that outlandish about that suit.In this day and age purple hued suits are worn by even the old white men in the bussiness world and an orange vest would be ok to,even a blue on.It would have to have the flower and the shoes could be changed if nessery(which i dont think it is) but other then that its fine.Gloves im ok either way,hed be more sinical without them but i just cant imagine him sitting at his desk, hands togeather but without his gloves and theyd hold blood well.

Damn I didn't even mention what costume I think he should wear, Suits and lots of them.

Dark purple, dark green, dark blue, dark red, a black suit and matching hats for all of them. I also dont think he should steal these suits after the "accident" but already have them as I think he should see himself as a pimpin gangster *not a pimp litterly ofcourse*

Hi I'm new here. I just did this. The Joker for TDK.
Wild, dark green hair, Long dark purple coat, leather gloves and pants, with pale skin and a smile :D.

I'm REALLY digging this design. It's obviously Joker, but it has more style.

I loved and was scared of the joker in that film so its very inspiring that ill be in those shoes, but at the same time what we are gonna have to do is somthing never done before, that was one of my requirements, i refused to carbon copy a perfeormance, that would not be a challenge and it would be mocking mr nicholson whom i have much respect for....
But Nicholson was perfect. I want a carbon copy. :csad:

That's very cool. I think I'd go for a slightly different colour scheme though. Make the pants the same dark violet as the coat, maybe a black shirt. Or brown, maybe. Thinking about it, I'd go with a green, yeah. Like.. this shade -

I'm sorry to hear that, because you're undoubtedly bound to dislike anything THE DARK KNIGHT serves up, then.

Don't you want any variety in Joker interpretations, though? I mean, the Joker has been portrayed tons of different ways in the comics, and Jack only encapsulated one take on the character. Don't you want to see some other angles?

I just felt Nicholson nailed everything I wanted to see in The Joker. I wasn't serious before, I don't want a carbon copy either. I really meant, I don't want to see "kills 10,000 during the movie and finds it funny without cracking a single joke" like alot of forum members want to see. My issue is more with the writing, I just hope he's similar to the way he was wrote in 1989. I think Health will do a superb job with whatever he's given.

I had no idea Eddie Izzard was playing the Joker! :wow:

(nice artwork, though it's not what I'd like to see)
