The Dark Knight Your TDK Joker

Post the approach you would have taken for Ledger's Joker in TDK. What similar and different decisions would you make compared to Nolan's?

1)Costume.
-The Joker's suit in TDK is perfect. I wouldn't make any changes.

2)Skin.
-The Joker's skin would be permanently white. It would completely lack pigmentation of any kind. I imagination his skin would look something similar to Vitiligo victims, only it affects his whole body and not in patches. Also, I would never explain WHY The Joker has skin like this. What is a chemical bath? Is it a genetic defect? Leave it up to the audience's imagination.

3)Hair.
-His hair would be permanently dyed green. I would use the same shade Nolan used, but his hair would be completely one color. He also dyes his eyebrows the same color. We never find out what natural hair color The Joker used to have, if it had color at all. Also, his hair would be pushed back for the most part, and would only get messy in appropriate situations (fight scenes, car chases, etc. etc.).

4)Lips.
-Like in "The Dark Knight Returns," The Joker's lips would lack pigmentation, like the rest of his skin. To complete his clown image, he would apply a deep red lipstick.

5)Eye shadow.
-I personally like the black makeup around The Joker's eyes in TDK. I would also use this in my version.

6)Carved smile.
-I wouldn't have one, or anything that would give The Joker a permanent smile. Heath has a great natural smile as it is, and I'd want The Joker to show a full range of emotions.

Same suit in TDK...except i would make that his `main attire` and he would have various suits throughout just a lil bit of the movie though they would be very recognizable as `the jokers attire`. The white face is fine with me no need for the whole body lacking pigment thought I would make it perma-white and the joker tends to touch himself up and make the clown design look sharper with regular makeup. I`m fine with only part of his hair being green but I`d rather it look clean cut and slicked and looking the way it is now only during or after a confrontation.

I don't mind the hair being messy, but I agree he should be perma-white (Just to start the debate...)

Also, does anyone else think that the charcoal eye make-up is a bit over the top? I'd prefer smaller circles... He looks like a panda...

Eh, I don't mind it really, although I can see why people take issue with it.

It really brings out the dementedness and emotionlessness of Heath's eyes, which is a plus to me.

Yeah, it brings out the eyes, and I think it'll work in the movie, but so far, he looks like a panda! Just something that bugs me more than the cut smile and the perma-white thing...

Blotchy white skin, then touched up with make up to hide teh blotchies.

Scared Smile, I love it too much. right side should go almost to his eye length other side medium.

Mostly Green hair with brown roots. And long pulled back.

I think the only thing I would change is the hair, just have it a little shorter and less scraggly, or look more like in the Empire picture, where it's smoothed back. Otherwise I love this version.

Because unless you have, you can't decide if the TDK is great.

Vibrant purple suit(tailcoat when crashing parties), acid squirting flower, pinstripe pants, yellow vest, and blue joker tie, and I'd keep the black circles around the eyes- it's probably my favorite part about the new look.

I think that looks awful, his eyes and smile make him look like a lizard. The clothing is great but I dont like the face at all.

So far, I love everything I've seen from TDK Joker, and I loved Jack Nicholson. I think Heath did something incredible.

I personally like the long hair. Just wish The Joker actually gave a damn about what he looks like and took the time to tidy it up a bit, even if that means just brushing it back.
