Kitty is a bigger character overall in the X-Verse, plus she's a major player in the current "hot" X-book "Astonishing" and has been around for nearly a decade more than Jubilee...I'd wager she has a larger fanbase too.

I'd also be happy with just one scene where Jubes gets to use her powers (PROPERLY represented). Too bad Ricksters info is probably false...

I don't think it'd be hard seperating her powers from Dazzler...so long as they stick with classic Dazzler and not Ultimate who seems to be a cross between Dazzler and Jubilee...

Dazzlers could just be bright white/yellow laserish or strobe

Jubilee's on the other hand like on the animated series, multi coloured firework like streamers with appropriate sound effects and explosive impact.

I prefer the yellow jacket from X1...the paint splattered thing looks like she's wearing a skinned Gremlin....eww

i like Kea better....thats it... and the yellow jacket... hmmm... I'd like to see that but usually yellow doesn't work on screen... but the hoop earings were also jubilee's trademark in the 90's animated series...

Here's the thing. Remember that Xverse article that Fox asked Ted and Matt to take down? In that report, it mentioned that Kea was there and HINTED at a Cajun....

I think that Ted has addressed that article, but I don't remember. Honestly...I think that I asked him about that a while ago (the question was for Ted to contact Darrin again), but I didn't get a direct answer. I don't know if he ever gave me a direct answer.

I think they took a cue from the Ultimate universe with the whole Kitty/Rogue/Bobby thang. And Jubes does need some more dialogue this time around, and make sure to showcase her smart mouthed-ness. That was what I always dug about her.

This yellow coat business sounds ridiculous..I mean, I wouldn't expect her to wear a yellow coat for any day, every day, all day, rain or shine, winter or summer...Yeah, it's a trademark for her character, they haven't disregarded that, but some of you sound like she has to be seen with a noticably yellow coat ANY TIME she's on-screen, which, sounds pretty ridiculous, IMO....

It was that interview with an extra over at The Xverse, where he said he saw the girl who played Jubilee in the last movie. I just went to the link, and Fox had asked the article to be removed. Plus, Xmenfilms.net has her confirmed on their list as well.

Also Kea has scored the role of Rumour Wong in the pilot of a new tv comedy called This Space for Rent. It premieres next month on CBC in Canada.
