Actually kinda makes sense, what with her being Chinese. Chinese names are often compossed of characteristics and traits that you want in one child, like happinesee (or in this case jubilation), intelligent, etc. Obviously Jubes parents just translated her chinese name into Jubilation for her english name rather then give her a new name.

I like her, I think she still looks young, so she is a good Jubilee for the next sequels!

Lets hope there is some form of celebration in the movie for her to showcase her powers, we havent had the most celebratory endings in the X-men films yet, maybe Jean and Scott could get married

Can someone tell me why Jubilee (Kea Wong) wasn't included as part of the X-Men. I briefly remember her being on the team in the FOX 90's cartoon series, so why not in the movies? With all of Magneto's recrutes.. it wouldn't hurt the X-Men to have an extra hand.

Thought she might have been given a larger cameo after the X2 deleted scene though.

Because, like the movies, the cartoon was a different translation of the comics. She has never really been a core X-Man. Yes, she has had her fair share of comic-time but never as part of the main group. They've not doing it to screw over all the hardcore Jubilee fans or anything like that. They're just staying true to the fact that everyone they put on the X-Team has got to be someone that's been a major player. Hence the current team.
