Some of you might have heard that my comp HD bit the dust a week or so back. I lost a lot of good files and projects I was working on... andthis was one of them. I had already drawn this out once, and after it was gone, it took me a week or more to get my psyche back in the right frame to be able to draw it again.

I think this turned out pretty well though.

Some of you might have heard that my comp HD bit the dust a week or so back. I lost a lot of good files and projects I was working on... andthis was one of them. I had already drawn this out once, and after it was gone, it took me a week or more to get my psyche back in the right frame to be able to draw it again.

I think this turned out pretty well though.

this is SO dark the coolness of it is lost (on my monitor at least) until i kinda got low and looked up at it, so I could see more detail (sometimes that works somehow).

in any event, it is a bada$$ piece. I wish it was a bit brighter, but again it may just be my stupid monitor.

I don't normally get requests for WoW characters, so this little dark elf was a fun deviation for me.

Well now, some people might dig old fashioned samurai, with their armor and flags and whatnot, for me, I'm cool with something more contemporary.

So, when someone asked me to do up their character Modern Samurai, I jumped at the chance.

A year ago I did up a pic of BHC and it was ... ok, but I wasn't totally happy with it. I wavered between badass and funny... and it didn't really go either way.

Almost a year later I've fond myself with another opportunity to take a stab at him - stuck with just makin' him look rough.

As an artist (and I use that term loosly), I always try to challenge myself and strive to mix up and improve my skills. Sometimes, that results in frustration and failure, but other times it actually works out.

When you're i the process, it's kind of hard to see if you've actually made any progress, so sometimes I like to take one character... and if I've repeated that character a few times - to compare how it looks.

The Juggernaut has always been one of my favorites.. so here goes.
