Chapter 1: Helicopter Trip
Micheal Robinson groaned. Why hadn't they asked someone like Alan Grant to do this? Well, he expected it was because grant was probably a lot older by now, but still. He was hired as their guide, even though he knew hardly anything about Dinosaurs. Heck, he even thought that there was such thing as Swimming Dinosaurs, up until a few weeks back. They were saying that they had hired fifteen military soldiers for protection, so he agreed for it.
"Hey, Mike." He turned and saw Kyle next to him.
"What Kyle?"
"There's something down there." He pointed out the window.
"Holy Crap...." He looked down to see a hump in the water, "Can we get any lower?"
"Sure." The Pilot said back. He flew down until they were about ten meters up from the water.
"Jesus, do you know what that is, Kyle?"
"Looks like some kind of Plesiosaur, probably Elasmosaurus." Kyle replied. Then a head rose up. It turned and looked straight at them.
"That's impossible, new fossil evidence shows Plesiosaurs can't do that." Kyle said.
"Well, that's just fossils. Here's the real-" The helicopter lurched down. The crashed down and crawled over to the other side, and saw another Elasmosaurus craning it's neck back. It began to lunge forward again. It smashed into the body of the Helicopter again. A dent appeared in the side, as the thing began to fall.
"We're losing altitude!" The Pilot shouted. The Soldiers shot out the window at the massive aquatic beast, but it was no good. The Helicopter had already splashed down into the murky sea depths. Water began rushing in.
"What are we gonna do now?!" Mike shouted. Then the dome at the front of the Helecopter smashed, and water filled into the sinking transport. Then the long, snakelike neck darted in a picked up a soldier in it's agile jaws. The soldier's screams where not heard through the water. Kyle ponted up, and Mike nodded. He gestured for the military men and the pilot to follow, and the all began swimming toward the surface. They splashed up, gasping for air, and spotted the island in the distance.
"Come on, swim!" Mike shouted. They all began the slow swim toward the island. At least half and hour later, they arrived. Drenched and Gasping, they collapsed on the sandy shore.
