Also, this film had the most crowd participation I've seen at a screening for some time. People laughed, people screamed, they were like "oh no" "he's gonna get eaten!" Really fun watching the film with a crowd that enjoyed it.

You really should pay no mind to him, he is always like this.

It's interesting to me how most people who liked the film are pretty even on why they liked it but those who didn't like it absolutely hated it and trash it. Usually that's flipped and those who like it are overly enthusiastic and those who didn't are pretty even.

Same with my crowd. Everything you said plus applause at two particular parts of the film, which I was also applauding.

I am SO getting this. This is from the Jurassic Park FB and the link given brings you to a Pre order on Amazon. I want that statue set so badly. :hmr:

That is a thing of beauty... I'm so tempted. Hopefully, the price goes down before release.

Because people hated this movie don't consider Jurassic Park as one of those Transformers, Fast and Furious,Independence Day type of a movie.

To me, Jurassic Park one of those movies like Terminator 2, Fly, The Dark Knight etc. I get my "fun" only when it has depth & good screenplay & thrill ride.

If somebody asks me how to ruin Jurassic Park, i would pretty much write something like Jurassic World. I guess only if they used humanoid dinosaurs idea it could be worse for me. So try to understand my pain even if you don't feel same way. :oldrazz:

For me it has never been just seeing some dinosaurs on park and action all over the place. Same reason why people who loves James Cameron's Terminator probably will hate Genisys and already hates Rise of The Machines. Others might love it because of explosions, action scenes, new terminators and seeing Arnold again etc.

I wonder something... All that talk about hybrid of carnotaurus, giganotosaurs was BS to hide what I-Rex actually was?
Because Claire says it's some sort of T.Rex and Owen says part raptor... We see snakes and other creatures to added in DNA. There is no mention about other dinosaurs

They don't mention all of the creatures that were used to make up the I-Rex

I can vouch for this. When the raptors turned on the humans after meeting the i-Rex, people were very "oooohhhhh!". :funny:

Yeah, which is ashamed, because some of I-Rex's features have very intriguing speculation attached to them. Like its opposable thumbs...

The Lego game is entirely way too much fun, lol.

Lego game is fun as well. I played some over the weekend and finished the first film, started TLW. Gonna do all the main movie missions and then can't wait to tackle free roam.

I seen JW for the second time with the girlfriend and she loved it. I seen it the first time with a childhood friend who grew up on JP and he loved it as well. Next I gotta bring my mom who brought me to see the original JP back in 1993. I'm excited to spread the Dino gospel once more.

Amen! Spread the word brother!

I really want to like this movie, but I just can't. Elements of the story prevent it. maybe next time.

Haha I know Marvel is grinning from ear to ear because they know this means GOTG is sure to have a significant boost. Pratt is the man right now, and unless he gives himself over to every project that's offered, it'll stay that way for quite some time, me thinks.

Kudos yet again, he deserves it all. :D

Saw this last night and thought it was fantastic. It's easily the best film in the franchise since the original. I haven't had this much fun with a summer blockbuster in a long while.

Yeah, I haven't either. I can only hope Star Wars is as good.

Yeah, not to open up a can of worms, but I think it's better than AoU. Star Wars will kill everything though (fingers crossed).

I also thought Pratt killed it. I can't wrap my finger around what it was exactly (could be his performance, the script or both), but there's something about his character that made him really, really likeable. I found him to be one of the most likeable summer blockbuster protagonists in the last few years or so, superheroes and Caesar notwithstanding. Bryce Dallas Howard and the two kids were very likeable as well.

SONY must be realy sad to see that Pratt has become involved with such major movies but declined to be in their Uncharted films.

I thought the whole cast was likable honestly. I enjoyed this more then AOU, mainly cause the story seemed more focused and there wasnt all this extra stuff shoved in your face. It was more of where is the story now film it.

Maybe it's because his character was the only interesting one.
