Well, Ive got my ticket.

Unfortunately my theater decided to put this movie in the auditorium with the oldest screen and audio system in the theater. This screen and sound system are easily 15 years old.:( Meanwhile the 3D version is being played on the BigD screen which is brand new and 80 feet tall. Damn 3D!:cmad:

I really like how they make the younger brother an expert on dinosaurs. Kind of a nice reference to "Tim" from Jurassic Park.

And
Claire's assistant has one of the best death scene in the movie

I really don't like that.....
they make BD Wong's character "Henry Wu" a bad guy in the movie. And you don't get to find out what happens to him in the end.

I'm having a marathon before I see Jurassic World tomorrow night, and I'm on The Lost World now. Man, besides the scene in the tall grass, the raptors were pretty incompetent in this.

I hadn't watch that movie for a long time up in till like a year ago and now I have watched it a few times sinces then and yeah they are not in the movie much. Lost world has a lot of the T-Rex and I would say more action then both 1 and 3 but yeah they are not in it much. The raptors where not in 3 much either though. So really the only movie that they are in a lot was 1. JP1 is a good split with the Raptors and T-Rex and then Lost world is like all T-Rex and then 3 is like the spino and flying ones and all most no T-Rex and little Raptors. I guess the key for a Jurassic movie to be good is like half T-Rex and like half Raptors lol.

How'd the T-Rex look? I trust that her entrance into the film is glorious.

I think they left Wu's story intentionally unresolved as sequel bait.

And the T-Rex gets a hero entrance

Pleasing to see the response to JW is on the positive side, especially given the skepticism/negativity about it being another JP3. Can't wait to see it.

Just got back from seeing it and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very enjoyable (if shallow) blockbuster with a terrific ending. The finale just leaves you grinning.

It is by no means a classic and the characters are quite cartoony. It lacks the reflection on science or the idea of humans co-existing with dinosaurs that made the original Spielberg film so scary and awe-inspiringly magical.

But if you are okay with just a theme park ride of a film, this fits the bill. I honestly liked it better than the last Avengers for that matter.

It is a little shallow, but highly enjoyable and entertaining.

However, stupidest part, two words: HIGH HEELS.

Really? That's it?

One character has the Ian Malcolm book "God Creates Dinosaurs" on his desk. I'll just say it's the Jake Johnson character. Honestly, I feel his scenes are all a little too cute as whenever he is onscreen they are calling back famous lines from the first film again and again. It's a little cloying. Luckily, it is not in the film that much and does not detract from the goofy fun of the rest of the film.

So I can't sleep tonight as of yet so what do I do? Well I stick Jurassic Park into the DVD and watch it for god knows how many times I've seen this movie.

DA and Vile, how do you rank JW among the sequels

I like that they went that way. He seemed like a really interesting villain in the making.

I just got back from seeing it, it's good but
There's a misuse of the John Williams theme.

That's my only gripe with the movie. Anyone agree?

The comingsoon.net reviews gave it 8/10 and 9/10.

I don't quite understand how
there's 2 T-Rexes? I thought Claire said the Indominus Rex ate her sibiling? How is it during the finale, Claire released another T-Rex?

One of the death scenes that was pretty cool was the helicopter(Masrani)attacked by the flying dinosaurs before crashing and exploding.

Wait, just a question cause I'm a bit "lost";

Is Rexy the only T-Rex on the Island? Or is the T-Rex we see in the trailer/teaser Rexy also? I thought there would be two Rex's contained seperatly. One in the T-Rex Kingdom, the other being Rexy.

Ann Hornaday, of the Washington Post, posted her review and the snippet on Rotten Tomatoes says this:

As has been previously observed, every action movie today ends up as "Transformers" and, even when it's cloned creatures fighting, the same is true here (with an antic dash of "Sharknado" tossed in for good measure).

Wtf is she talking about? Her review is rotten, by the way.

Holy hell. Some are unpleasable.

Is there action? Reviewer : "It's terrible! 0/10"
Is there no action? Reviewer "Could've used a Transformer style ending! 0/10"

... thats how it always goes.

There's not two T-Rexes. The Indominus Rex is not a T-Rex, it's a genetically engineered hybrid. Then there's also the T-Rex from the original movie which is still alive. The T-Rex in Jurassic World is the same one from the original movie.

Not really a spoiler but I'm wondering, should the Indominus really have survived that club to the jaw from the ankylosaur? Or should her jaw have at least been broken? In which case she wouldn't be able to bite anything.
