For those here who also happen to be Piano Guys fans (or who are just interested on a simple 1 piano & 1 cello take on the Jurassic Park theme):

JURASSIC PARK THEME

Video Description
When you combine Michael Crichton’s imaginative writing, Stephen Spielberg’s cinematic directing, and John Williams’ transcendent composition, it’s an infallible recipe for an epic movie – now relived in the latest iteration of the series, “Jurassic World.” We thought we’d pay tribute to this “hat trick” of artistry by arranging a “chill,” almost reverent version of John Williams’ deeply emotive theme from Jurassic Park and film it in the nearest prehistoric place we could find: Crawdad Canyon. We hope you enjoy it!

I love the things these guys will put in the credits:

There's not two T-Rexes. The Indominus Rex is not a T-Rex, it's a genetically engineered hybrid. Then there's also the T-Rex from the original movie which is still alive. The T-Rex in Jurassic World is the same one from the original movie.

Okay, thanks.

I think the pterodactyls attack the visitors scene was really very cool.

And the scene where the brothers are trapped in the hamster ball, being attacked by the Indominus Rex was great too.

I have to admit, I woke up full of excitement knowing that I'll be seeing this tonight.

Jurassic park theme is one of my favorite movie themes it's so magical and beautiful.

Went to see it today it was pretty decent.

Some minor complaint's but one big one was Bryce Dallas Howard runnnig for 90% of the movie , in that terrain on heels. I mean even Chris Pratt's character commented on that. I love me a redhead but come on girl. :funny:

Best moment for me was
when the T-Rex aka the King Daddy came out to stop this no good punk Indomy.
and that last shot was epic. :hmr:

7/10

Jurassic Park: 10/10
Jurassic World: 7.5/10
The Lost World: Jurassic Park: 5/10
Jurassic Park III: 4/10

Hope that helps.

Cool yeah I didn't really need the ratings haha. Just was wondering the order of which from best to worst assuming of course JP will be everyone's top one. I have already assumed my list will be the same order. JP, JW, TLW then JP3 from best to worst.

Oh the order I'd rank the franchise in now is:

Jurassic Park

Jurassic World
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park III

The first one is so much better than the other three hence the gap.

I think it's safe to say JP will always be the top of everyone's list as it should be. Which is why I'm more interested in people's rankings of the sequels themselves. And when JW is 2nd behind JP and first ahead of the other sequels. That is a very good thing in my opinion :)

Not really a spoiler but I'm wondering, should the Indominus really have survived that club to the jaw from the ankylosaur? Or should her jaw have at least been broken? In which case she wouldn't be able to bite anything.

I imagine Henry Wong gave her tougher skin as
he stated he was paid to make the ultimate Apex predator.

I'm surprised they held back the reviews because they aren't bad. Odd.

I do what I can, Broseph. I do what I can.

Someone has to be funny around here.

Saw it in the afternoon showing.

It was highly enjoyable and fun, if somewhat ridiculous summer film. Do not expect intelligence, or a compelling plot to keep you on the edge of the seat. I was in fact hoping that they will show something new or different, alas it was not to be, I would say that it was too predicable until the end scene (I did not watch any spoiler leaks or look at any spoiler photos, only the main trailers). This was just pure blockbuster, not compelling Crichton thriller.

The visual was very good but not really specular. Most of the dinos were rendered very well in the night-time environment as the CGI effects felt "heavy" however the daytime effects were still lacking especially in fast motion. The T-Rex was the best rendered one. Btw the T-Rex was slow as hell in reality – they move about as fast as us human. The logic in creating I-Rex is mind blowing. Whose good idea is it to give this monster functional forelimbs & claws? LOL.

The worst bit was the two kids especially the older brother - yikes - a lot of bad acting. There was no memorable character or scene, the film seems to be geared toward young kids.

The bits about dino communication, especially with Owen, were all too far fetched to be taken seriously. They appeared to have made the I-Rex and the velociraptors pack just about or above in intelligence levels of hominids.

Well, it didn't wowed me, though I enjoyed the ride. Next time they should develop the story better.

I gave it 6/10.

Oh great, that's as much as I could have expected. I hope I like it even more than you given my rating of TLW would be a little higher.
