I finally finished this after more than a month. Honestly, I didn't really enjoy this. Conquering every region here is much easier compare to Just Cause 4, though finding certain objects to destroy was sometimes challenging. There were just a lot of places to conquer here and it was quite repetitive. There were a lot of collectibles here too that I just didn't bother to finish. I also didn't do the challenges and the blueprints. I ignored the random encounters like hijacking an enemy's car.

The location was so so. I expected this to have more variety in terms of location, than Just Cause 4 because this was better reviewed. But a lot of the towns and provinces looked the same. I did like the capital and vegetation. But the setting didn't wow me at all. The story was incredibly meh. I finished the last mission and didnt get a cutscene, thats like who does that? A lot of the locations in the map also weren't used in the story missions.

Just Cause 4 is my first game in this franchise and this is the 2nd. After playing two Just Cause games back to back, I don't think I want to play a Just Cause 5. I enjoyed Just Cause 4 for the experience but I was just not feeling it with Just Cause 3. I don't feel attached to Rico and blowing up things in these games don't feel special/rewarding after doing it a hundred times. Customization and use of the open world here are really lacking. The supply drops, parachute and glide are useful and very convenient to use. But there's no building in the big map here where you can enter and purchase things like clothes, weapons and vehicles. It doesn't seem fun to just explore the big open world as the only thing you can do is destroy things, ride vehicles, kill enemies and I guess collect stuff. I think the map could have been smaller too.

A very meh game especially compare to other open world games with a modern setting.
