Just Cause 3

At first,I thought the wing suit was just okay but it truly looks awesome

Wing suit makes me think of Nightwing.
Nightwing suit will be one of the earliest mods made.

TAS? oh damn I don't remember that at all,I need to look back at it

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Seems like the pre-cursor to the Batman Beyond wings, too, with how it pops out and in for use.

I forgot about that Batman suit.
Maybe that will be an earlier made mod.
Whichever is done, I'll be happy with it.

I'll be looking forward to this. The only thing I didn't like about Just Cause 2 was how easy it is to lose the military during a chase.
Just played the "deliver food to new reapers recruits", and the quickness of the coming of soldiers and their stance against Rico is a pain in the bottom.
I blew up 3 choppers at one point, and as soon as the wanted bar was lowering, air support unit was summoned.
And the Reapers were nowhere to back me up.
Even the ease of escaping -which is a blessing- does not help in that position.

Never played a Just Cause game. Will probably start with 2 and then graduate to this.

Why not just jump in with 3?
I don't know why exactly but I like completing all the previous games in a series before playing the most recent one. At least the ones going back as far as last gen as I've sold previous systems now (and for some reason I'd thought the first game was from the gen before). Don't mind trying out modern games when I haven't tried their predecessors but like doing that before my full playthrough. Just gives perspective or something I guess but I've always preferred doing it that way.

You won't need to play the first one, that's for sure.
Just Cause 2 takes a lot of time to complete, I'm 74 hours in and still haven't completed 60% of the total game.
The campaign is peculiarly short in comparison to everything else, 7 story missions, and some obligatory Agency missions to progress with the rest of the story.

It's solid entertainment, recommended more for price now that 5 years have passed since its release, not so much if you like to conserve time.

Thanks for that. I don't need to complete the whole game. Just the campaign and do some exploring and get a good feel for the game. That's enough for me on old games which I'm playing to catch up. I like knowing where they went before with the series before and it gives a look at its evolution which is something I'm always interested in seeing.

Square Enix giving away actual island in Just Cause 3 competition

You could opt for cash. But then you couldn't say you own an island.

Square Enix is giving away an actual, real-life island to the winner of a newly announced Just Cause 3 competition. To receive the special code required to participate in this contest, you must pre-order the game.

“The contest will be an exercise in destruction, with participants racing to score the most Chaos Points by unleashing Rico Rodriguez’s collection of guns, bombs, vehicles and his faithful grappling hook to wreak havoc all over the in-game island of Medici,” Square Enix said in a press release. “The more creative and inventive the mayhem, the more Chaos Points players will earn, with an actual island at stake for the top-scoring winner.”

The island’s location is to be determined by the competition’s sponsor. It is not guaranteed to be inhabitable, developed, or reachable by any means other than a boat. The island will be valued at up to $50,000 USD. Winners may also opt to receive a cash prize instead of the island.

The competition will begin at the game’s launch on December 1 and run for 90 days. More information will be available at its official website.

Even if the location is garbage there's possibility.
